finish on soap dispenser to match Grohe faucet

Did you buy the same brand of faucet and soap dispenser? I'm planning on the Grohe Bridgeford pull down faucet in polished chrome, but the coordinating soap dispenser is about $90, which seems like a lot for a soap dispenser. I'm wondering if all polished chrome finishes are alike. I'd appreciate any input.

First of all check everywhere online. I found mine ($72 at lowes) $47 online and Lowes matched the price. Check ebay, I don't know if this is the one you want.
Also Lowes has a great line (Keeney brand) for $19.99 and they have every finish. I needed venetian bronze and unfortunately it didn't quite match but it might match yours. They always have them in stock.

i just finished our kitchen and have the grohe bridgeford pull down faucet and i LOVE it!! i have it in polished chrome and did buy the matching grohe soap dispenser (polished chrome) and i think they look beautiful together. got them at irawoods, the dispenser was 65.00, free shipping and no tax. yes you can find polished chrome elsewhere, just make sure it is what you want and the finish is good so it won't rub off. good luck!!

Taggie: hahahaa. Yes, I think he would notice, because he would be the one installing them. Ã¢ÂÂswitch the top part in for the stainless one and not mention a word about it. Don't know how observant your DH is, but mine would never notice itÃ¢ÂÂ But you know, the water filter faucet is starting to leak a little (wink wink wink)Ã¢ÂÂ¦especially when I bang it w/ my big metal pan!!! Hahahaa Breezygirl: oh, IÃ¢ÂÂm way past year 2012 birthday and anniversary already. My 4 girlfriends and I are heading to South Beach for our birthday celebration next month. For our anniversary, I got my beloved Vitamix Blender (oh how romantic). Christmas 2013 present = IÃ¢ÂÂm getting the Blum Servo for the hands-free trash pullout. As for the handles: funny you mentioned it. Our friend came to help install them this morning. He didnÃ¢ÂÂt have enough time to do them all, but he strategically did not do any of the uppers so that he didnÃ¢ÂÂt have to fight me on installing them horizontally. I didn't mention that I hate wasting stuff. Yes, I can Freecycle them, but...still wasteful. thanks, Amanda

Mom23E-- I have 2 -- 6 yr old Moen Aberdeens that look a lot like your Woodmere. I like yours better :-) I had matching soap dispensers that had to be replaced. I called Moen to find out which one they recommended to "go" with my Aberdeen. I ordered 2 of these and had them installed. Thanks a million kris_ma. I looked at KWC Primo. It is a bit taller than I would like, ideally, but it is good to have it on my list as a possibility. Thanks for the info on avoiding the Grohe. It's easy to go with them because they say it will match, but certainly not worth the aggravation later on. If anyone else has any info, please help. Anyone with Grohe SuperSteel next to another brand stainless and can say if they match? Also, anyone has a lower-profile modern looking dispenser they like? Shorter than 3", with a spout longer than 3" is heading in the right direction. Much thanks.
