Dir_ty fingernails....

There has been a set back for this dear lady. This weekend she started having difficulties with breathing and swallowing. When DS took her in to emergency yesterday, they did a CT scan and found either she has a new tumor or her lymph nodes are swollen and was creating an obstruction. They put her on steroids to bring the swelling down and got some fluids into her. Then they transported her to a larger hospital and she will start getting emergency radiation today. She had been feeling better lately and been having to take less pain meds, so we had hope the new chemo was helping. I'm so sad for her and what she is having to go through along with the stress and emotional turmoil for Dok and her son, Willie. Please pray that they all have the strength and courage to face what ever they have to face. Thankyou, Dottie

I want to chime in here too - HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to the special couple. Yours is such a really sweat story. Here's to many more on this special day. It makes me so sad to hear the news also. So many of the people that I know and care about are having cancer issues at the moment...I'm an old Lady and have had a good life but it seems so unfair that so many young vibrant people have to deal with cancer.
