oakleyok.....right...huh....they'd love it! There is soooooooooo much talent here.....the eye of a photographer or a nature lover(Gazania, your there!) and it transfers to their decor.....:0) WOW guys!!!! momof6....she's beautiful!

I LOVE all the pictures! Maybee-I showed yours to DS and he said WOW,COOL! It is beautiful! Kath-I would say a soft gray.I think white would be too stark and black would make the furniture disappear. Love the birds, love the wind chimes and love, love, love the peacocks.Kim,I have a pair of flamingos that are about the same scale as your peacocks. They were my mother's and she had them for as long as I can remember, which makes them VERY old!LOL I'll bet they were made in about the same era as yours.I love them.i know they were probably cheap dime store stuff but they are a treasure to me.I really like that mirror behind the peacocks too.

One of the shelves in our living room wall unit. The old "Six Thousand Years of History" books were copyrighted in 1899, and belonged to my paternal grandfather. The small book (standing up) is a Webster's Dictionary from 1928, which belonged to an old family friend. The large Bible belonged to my beloved paternal grandmother. It is one of my most-prized possessions.

I have an old dresser (it was my DH's great grandmothers, his grandmother was told by her mother that if she fixed it up, she could have it in her home, then it came with Gma when she moved in with Dean's family. His mother had it in their house, and now it is in our home) that sits in the entry way to our home. I display the different holiday/themes on it. 4th of July is on it now.
