What a coincidence! I took my daily picture before I saw your's showing part of our new Persian rug because I love it so much!

But it's our "game table" I'm showcasing in this picture. At Christmas I lift the side leaves to it & wrap presents while watching TV.

I have always loved oriental and intricatley patterned rugs. Growing up there was one in our living room and my Grandma's 14 room house was full of them. Today, with my ability to trip over a piece of string and DH's dislike of "busy" rugs, the best I can do is the owl rug in this pic.

Clairdo, can I have a bag of chips? LOL

I squirrel away treats for myself too. :-)

Looks like you have a nice collection of National Geographics as well. I'd have a great time at your house. :-)

jodi.....I have a set of 3 of those, not exact.... I fondly refer to them as "texture" prints. Do you know if they are originals? or textures applied to canvas?

I admit.....I got 24 pieces of artwork from a warehouse, used by decorators to stage model homes(when the homes sold, the artwork was no longer needed). I have very little information on most of the pieces.....other than the artists signature....

Nicole, my framed "print" is not a print after all it appears. It is individual sheets of handmade papers painted, embossed and overlaid. It's signed in gold pen but I can't read the artist's name.
