Beautiful Jodi!

One of the old windows I drew on. This one hangs in my sunroom.

Nice pics everyone.....!!!!! Jodi...I agree....looks similar. :0) I grew up with my moms oriental prints & buddas. I'd love to have this piece for outdoors(mom had it indoors). It was 2 feet tall! I remember her buying one for my brother @ K-mart for $18.....those were the days....:0)

Another chickadee print, this one in my kitchen (had to take it at a weird angle to get rid of reflections from flash and windows).

One of the shelves in our living room wall unit. The old "Six Thousand Years of History" books were copyrighted in 1899, and belonged to my paternal grandfather. The small book (standing up) is a Webster's Dictionary from 1928, which belonged to an old family friend. The large Bible belonged to my beloved paternal grandmother. It is one of my most-prized possessions.

Here's my bedroom wall right after I hung photographs of Clematis (grown at a previous home) that I took and framed. I used to have them displayed in a dining room, but really like the serene gallery like quality that I think they give the bedroom wall.

Jodi, mind if I ask the name of your granite? Your kitchen is just gorgeous!

Here's a picture of a jewelry box my dad made. When he retired, he took up woodworking and likes to try different techniques. I just love the two tone color of the woods. I don't use it as a jewelry box but it makes a great catchall box to hide DH's change, keys, pens, pocketknife....

Georgeous kitchen, Jodi.

What a treasure to have, Jen --- something your Dad made for you. I have a couple of things my Dad made and I am so happy to have them now that he's gone. They remind me so much of him.

Beautiful photographs Jel. They look awesome in your bedroom.

Thanks for the kitchen compliments.

The granite is Impala Black and I love it! Not too busy, not too plain. Easy to decorate around.

Go to my Photobucket page and all the kitchen specs are in the Comments section.

Kat, I need to get myself a sign like that. I'm not a slob, just a little more untidy than OCD DH would like. For now, my framed graphic that says "Martha Stewart Doesn't Live Here." will have to do. :-)

Love your kitchen too, Glenda. Would you mind sharing the specifics on your backsplash?

oldgarderner, I agree there are many talented decorators here. (I decorate with cats too! Love yours.)
