Here's my bedroom wall right after I hung photographs of Clematis (grown at a previous home) that I took and framed. I used to have them displayed in a dining room, but really like the serene gallery like quality that I think they give the bedroom wall.

Jodi, mind if I ask the name of your granite? Your kitchen is just gorgeous!

Here's a picture of a jewelry box my dad made. When he retired, he took up woodworking and likes to try different techniques. I just love the two tone color of the woods. I don't use it as a jewelry box but it makes a great catchall box to hide DH's change, keys, pens, pocketknife....

What a treasure to have, Jen --- something your Dad made for you. I have a couple of things my Dad made and I am so happy to have them now that he's gone. They remind me so much of him.

The granite is Impala Black and I love it! Not too busy, not too plain. Easy to decorate around.

Kat, I need to get myself a sign like that. I'm not a slob, just a little more untidy than OCD DH would like. For now, my framed graphic that says "Martha Stewart Doesn't Live Here." will have to do. :-)
