Walmart's 'Alaskan' salmon

Recently I discovered that Walmart's freezer section contained large (1.75 lbs.) pieces of wild-caught Alaskan salmon for $8.98. They were separated into portions, which I thawed one at a time. I don't buy farm-raised salmon, but can't usually afford wild-caught, so I was happy to find these.

Yesterday I went to buy another of these, but noticed the packaging no longer mentions Alaska. The original packages not only mentioned it, but had some sort of logo indicating the salmon came from Alaskan waters. Now the package just says "wild caught" and mentions that it's Pacific salmon. I wonder if the latest version comes from China.

Anyone noticed this?
