Hazelnutbunny, I'll get that address off to you this evening. You'll do fine with the points. Some directions are easier than others to get them to line up well. Many times, when I have a lot of triangles to do, I modify the pattern from working with little triangles, to using two squares, and seaming them down the middle and cutting off the waste to use later in a scrappy. Those bias seams are doosies. I also starch bias seams before I sew them and handle them carefully now. I was amazed at the play in them and always wondered why my triangles were out of shape and my points off. I'm still working on it too! I also have to make a fabric run for this one, but thank goodness for fat quarters! Can you post a new thread for the next Quilt Lotto? I know Kay had one she set up with the quilt picks from past winners, but if you are using that one......then it's long hidden and on a new thread for the next lotto, you could just link to it. If you aren't using the old format, we need to know which spinner pattern and more info as to fabric choices like backgrounds. Congrats on the win, Michelle and yes it's nice to know it will be going to QOV. As for staying on bi-monthly or going back to monthly......I don't care either way. We might like to do an Oct/Nov one for the spinner, since we shall all be into Christmas/holiday sewing now. But, I would like to see another December lotto for Christmas blocks like we did last year. Everyone had scrap fabric from their Christmas sewing and crafting and we had I think 32 blocks, because I won that one and didn't need that many blocks and drew a runner up name so we could split the jackpot.

Patti, Thanks, I'll just keep 'em! LOL Just Kidding! ;) Really though, I want you (and everyone else!) to know what I went through to draw your name as the lucky winner! First, I made a table in my word program and typed in everyone's name in even columns and rows for the number of blocks entered. I triple checked the list! (Cause I know I can make mistakes!) I cut each name out so that all were on equal sized pieces of paper. I folded each piece of paper in careful halves... I counted each piece as I put them all in the bowl, covered and shook vigorously several times and then held the bowl high and made my son draw one... So, you won it fair and square, Patti. I'm not a mathematician, but I believe everyone's chances of winning depended on how many blocks they entered, so you had a 2 in 31 chance! On a side note, (I meant to mention this before!), Bonnie very generously donated her 3 blocks to the winner! I was totally blown away by her generosity, but understand why she wanted to do so. I also donated my block as well... (lol... I could just imagine how it would look if I won my first time hosting! ;) Really though, I just have too many things on my plate as it is, but just had to try making a shooting star! And one last thing... my son, after hearing that you felt that we should re-draw a name, said, "How many times am I gonna have to do this????" LOL So again, CONGRATULATIONS! Cathy
