ShabbyB, here's the link to all our GJ albums. Most of the stuff comes from the gang here, tho I frequently spend nights browsing the Internet looking for more things to put in them. And I want all of you to let me know if you have a photo you want put in. These are YOUR albums, I'm just the caretaker!!! I'm not trying to 'judge' anyone's creations, and sure don't want to hurt feelings leaving out things of interest. I do sometimes get behind in adding photos tho, I save them in a file and don't always get a picture right in the album. Tho I try to. So speak up anytime about photos, PLEASE. hugs, Karen

Thanks for the confirmation. The leaves are so interesting on these plants. They are actually more attractive than the bloom itself. I'll mark it as a puttyroot for sure.

oh, that is a wonderful piece! Great find, and a nice size, too! I just have to share what I found today...ran out at lunch time to try to find a little dog or frog for the base of my "little boy"....didn't find either of those, BUT....OMG...look what I DID find! I just love these colors, reminds me of mexican pottery/mosaics ....AND... found 4 red plates that will coordinate perfectly. They are a reddish orange. And the prices were right - the set was $20 - and there were 40 pieces! And the plates were $2 (for all 4).

Chicory, you and I have been catching up on other threads, but les, I have been meaning to say it's nice to see you -- I hope you're thriving... meg, thanks! If that dinette set is vintage, it won't last long at S.A. -- we actually have a vintage chrome/formica set -- the table's out in the garage and the chair is one of our go-to solid-as-a-rock chairs, the kind you can pull to stand on if you're in a pinch...is the set you donated vintage? brutuses, guess we both scored today, yes? We g'webbers are going to decimate the thrifts/secondhand shops :) jenny, I agree re Todd Oldham -- I learned that he's the ultimate fan of Charley Harper, too, which stands to reason...I get such a --just a *good mood*, I guess!-- from all I see of his (T.O.'s) work, no matter the medium. It can be reupholstered, definitely, although it would be a pity not to let this fabric wear itself out, since it was aligned so perfectly and has such a nice feel to it -- I'm blanking on the name of it but it's a rayon-cotton-y feeling fabric that feels like a challis, in a way--just perfect for a cool kid's room :) I just need to find a vanity/buffet/credenza for the powder room! But this is a fun consolation prize.
