Glasses...since I was 8 years old.

Not anymore, had PRK surgery a couple years ago.

Timely question for me. I have worn contacts since 1990. Never got glasses. But I developed an ulcer on my eye and can't wear that contact right now. I'm one of those that never takes my contacts out day or night. I guess I've been lucky so far, but now I'm going to start taking them out at night and also buying a pair of glasses to wear sometimes. I have had to go to the eye doctor everyday! They really watch something like this! Thank goodness the redness in my eye is almost gone this morning and it's feeling much better.

I know, a long answer to a short question. LOL

I've worn glasses since 5th grade ... wore contacts for a few years but my doctor has never felt that bi-focal contacts were worth the $$ so when my vision degraded enough for that, I came back to glasses.

I started wearing glasses as a senior in high school. Several years later, I went to contacts. I still wear them, but also have a pair of glasses that I wear when the contacts start bothering me. I also have to wear cheaters with the multi-focal contacts now. May go back to glasses in Aug.

I wear glasses and have since first grade. I can't even hear without my glasses LOL. I tried contacts for a brief time, but found they were a PITA. I'll stick with glasses ;o)

Contacts here, I do have glasses that I wear occasionally around the house, but not out in public.

I wear contacts. I only wear my glasses at night right before bed after I have taken my contacts out.

The glasses I were at home are from the 80s and have duct tape holding the earpiece on.

I've been wearing glasses for about a dozen years. I tried contacts, but they didn't work out well for me.

Have worn glasses for about 15 or so years. Went to contacts years ago and loved them. Now back to glasses and wishing I could get surgery to fix eyes.

Just had an eye exam. Excellent far vision, still need reading and computer glasses.

Glasses- for distance. Have since I was about 16, I think.

I got glasses when I was 13, contacts when I was 14. I have been wearing contacts ever since. Now I wear disposable contacts and wear them 24/7 until I swap out for a fresh pair. It works great for me.

Glasses for reading only. My distance vision is fine.

Glasses - since high school. But mainly I wear them for reading and/or TV & driving. I guess that's most of the time but I don't wear them at work as looking at a computer screen, they seem to make my vision worse for some reason.

Glasses... I have since I became pregnant with my first born, so about 20 years now. My eyes are getting worse with age.

At times to read the tiny print in our phone books, I will need glasses. Otherwise, no.

Both - but not at the same time :)

I reach for my glasses before I get out of bed so I can see where I'm going! I don't wear the contacts too often. Only if I'm going somewhere that I don't have to drive or read too much.

Reading glasses I buy at $ Tree for $1. I must have 20 pairs around the house and in the cars. I've threatened to leave a pair in my pew at church. Doc said buy 2.75 power.

Glasses for distance since high school. You want to see a dorky picture, you should see the one in my year book of me with my "cat eye" glasses. Geesh! Now I have another pair for reading. Sigh! One more of life's little surprises that come with age.

I have been wearing glasses for almost 20 years. Darn, I wish I could see without them.

I use to wear both,both now just wear glasses.

Except for a set of prescription glasses over 25 years ago, reading glasses - and I need the 4.00 ons, wen I cna find them.

Soon to have cataract surgery, so who knows, after that? They tell me that the backsides of my eyes are in good condition.

Yes, I wear true bifocal gas permeable contacts.

I was born in the Summer of 1949. Started wearing glasses in the 5th grade. The bridge of my nose is so very thin and my glasses rubbed a raw spot on both sides of my nose. When I was about 22 or 23, my doctor told me that if I didn't switch to contacts that it was a certainty that I'd get skin cancer in those raw spots within about 5 years. So, I switched to contacts, and have worn contacts ever since. And, yeah, I did get skin cancer in that area on the left side of my nose.

I used to wear glasses until I had laser eye surgery.
