Thanks sooo much for the fantastic photos ! It's snowing and sleeting here today, and your pics are just what the doctor ordered ! I love the way your flower bed has the large conifer edging for a backdrop, very appealing, it adds a dramatic flair to the photos. You have some great plant combinations too ! I like how you've matched textured foliage plants and flowers together ! It's really fun to see how your garden grows and changes through each season, until ole man winter claims it again. I absolutely love looking at others garden photos, it really inspires me, I just love looking at flowers, period..! Thanks again for allowing me to take a peak into your flower garden. I'll try to get a few more photos added to my file today and share some of my favorites with you.

Chris.. I would consider it actually a cross of the two.. not dark burgandy but not royal purple either.. my picture was ffo in bright sunshine.. will watch and post some future shots too as a comparison. Ann.. I'll be so curious to see your seedlings. PRR was new to me last year and I missed the blooms.. so I am anxious to use the pollen this year.. I'll be a couple of years behind you with some seedlings..but will be fun to compare. INDIAN RIPPLES was one of my favorites that day - I have very few diploids so I froze the pollen today for use when I have one in bloom. Shelly

There is a house for sale by us that was renovated 7 years ago, with pink carpets washed oak and very 80's-early 90s looks. The seller feels they are selling an updated house but the buyers think it needs to be gutted. Some people are stuck in the past at the time of their lives they were happiest. Or, someone aspired to have a certain look and could not afford it at the time. They forgot to update their wishlist when they finally had cash. The sad thing is a person with a lot of money/huge house and poor taste has more chances to make mistakes and the mistakes are in a larger format.

Yummy eye candy! Love, love, love the library corner in Drop Ins Welcome. I think I could happily live in it. And the sliding barndoor hardware on Tall Nonfat with the outdoor bar/window to the kitchen. Just fabulous! And the bathrooms in Home Is Where the Heart Is. And the window seat in Capitol Improvement. So many gorgeous touches.

How beautiful. Maybe a little too perfect, if that's possible. I especially like the wood chairs in the room with the leopard print bench and the ceiling light fixture in the master bath.

The only things I don't love about this: the upholstery on the sofa and one chair in the living room or main salon looks very nubby and slubby, and uncomfortable. The other is the lamp in that same room with the ruffle around the bottom edge of the shade....leftover from an early Charlotte Moss remake?

Otherwise, do love this home and furnishings, it is truly "all of a piece" and beautiful---thx for posting these photos.

I love the dining chairs and all of the hanging light fixtures. The outdoor room is gorgeous. I'm glad you added it because it is my favorite room. Thanks, Jim, for posting.

I always know what to expect from you, Chijim; beautifully traditional layered spaces. These are so lovely.

I especially love the topiaries in the first pic, the DeGourney (I think) wallpaper, and that outdoor room.

I just started subscribing to A.D., I've been waiting anxiously to start receiving the issues.

The tree console table is my favorite. Wow....

And the bed linens. And the outdoor room. And every hanging light fixture....

Okay, so there's nothing I don't like. LOL Fantastic.

I still have this issue in the plastic waiting to be read!
