So I thought I'd apply a little levity to the forum today!

There is a website called simonscat.com that I think has the funniest silly 45 second cat video's ever. There are about 6? of them ranging from 30 seconds to two minutes and are inspired by the author, Simons, cat.

They are in my top ten for internet fun right now. What's your internet fun?

If you like funny pet stuff and haven't seen it yet, you just must check out I Can Has Cheezburger? I spent oh, hours and hours when I first found it laughing away all by myself at funny cats and dogs. Great for a little levity on a bad day :)

Also, I'm a huge fan of You Suck At Craigslist. Especially funny are the comments both the website owner and the viewers make :)

It's sad and I hate to admit it but if I have a soft spot it's cats. Old ones, young ones, skinny ones, ugly ones. MAN. Cats are great!

And video of cats, or cartoons of cats, or pictures of cats! Yep. I am such a dork.

I had an Endless Summer in NC that bloomed 3X annually. It was about 5X5 sheltered by the house such that it only received morning sun and had no competition from tree roots. The color was garish, sorta turquoise, surely some anomaly due to soil type (I only fed it Rose Tone, every plant in my life gets Rose Tone LOL). I'm going to try a Blushing Bride at this house to get the rebloom without a need for sunglasses. I also had a hedge of five Bluebird lacecaps. They were stunning! The bloom period lasted about a month then the spent blooms persisted and turned interesting shades. The nicest hydrangeas I have yet seen were in coastal Connecticut/Long Island.

Melva - ROFL - how long would you suggest in the PC? ccaggiano - sometimes muscle pain can be delayed. I tend to get muscle pain about 2-3 days after shoveling, raking or heavy lifting. It's most likely because the doc knew you weren't making up a complaint just to get drugs and it would save time in case one didn't work and then you wouldn't have to come back just for a different script. That being said, if you ever have a concern, you should contact the ER dept head or the hospital adminstrator and talk to them. The only Class II drug there is the oxycontin, which is oxycodone hcl. Vicodin is Hydrocodone Bitartrate & Acetaminophen. Percocet is Oxycodone and Acetaminophen. Vicodin would be the mildest, then Percocet (depending on the dosage) and then the oxycontin. Dafy - Planning on helping a neighbor with Peach Jam for Cold Mornings sometime soon.

Thank you my dears, for the sympathy, and the plan of action. I do recall when my computer wouldn't boot up, I got annoyed and gave it a punch. Instant boot. I was trying the same thing on the fridge, but it's hard to really give a jarring punch to a whole refrigerator. Sons were a bit concerned as first, but enthusiastic when I explained. :D Teenage sons to the rescue! Not that they had more luck punching it, my oldest used brainpower. We had it emptied (again) and they tipped it. Then they let it slam back down about six inches--it seemed like a foot to me, but what were they going to do? Break it??? HUMMMMM said the freezer, and the light was back on, too. It took me all day to get over it. I had to call my sister and complain of an anxiety attack (bingo! easy stitches, all that cleaning wasted!) and after one hour of her boyfriend problems I'd forgotten all about my fridge and had a grateful sister as well.

Ebean - your doctor may not have said it, but you should be very proud of what you went through and 5 years must mean something! It sure beats not getting to 5 years!! I wish you many more anniversaries and hope you get to the point where you vaguely remember the day because it was so long ago and you have lived so much life in the interim. I lost a high school friend this week unexpectedly and our sons' bus driver passed this morning from being in an accident on Mon with a tanker truck on the way to picking up the kids for school. Not everyone gets a second chance, so your story is wonderful because there is no ending to it ;). The fact that you are here to share your daughter's growing up and what is to come and are also here to grow old with your husband (someday, not yet), makes me tear up some. I want to go wake the boys and give them big kisses, but will wait til morning. Dh is recovering from "minor" surgery yesterday, but it is not an easy recovery nonetheless. I am so grateful he that each day will be better and his problems were "fixed" in one shot. If he were not sleeping finally(!), I'd want to wake him too!

I LOVE Cat Man Do, saw it for the first time about two years ago and keep coming back to it for a good laugh. We have cats and that is so true. (Not the baseball bat but how they wake you for food even when the bowl is not empty. I'll have to view the others.

I have seen I Can Has Cheezburger? but not the other one.

Also had a good laugh about Rhymes With Orange in the Sunday paper because it so describes what my cats do. Unfortunately it's not available in the archives yet but it showed a bunch of animals falling into a bed fitting perfectly together, though in different shapes, and fitting perfectly right up against the human, who is lying wide awake on his crowded bed. Below is the caption "Petris" (like Tetris, for anyone who has played). My cats hem me in almost every night.

Anyone who has ever had a cat living in their space can sympathize with Simon. My cats have always done those things; stopping short of the ball bat! I often go watch that one just because I can. And I find myself smiling ear to ear every time even though I know what's coming next.

I had a cat who would watch me closely in the morning. i had to be careful not to let him realise i was awake.
he would tap my nose gently
then with a little more intensity
then he would wash my nose
if i still didn't open the eyes he would bite my nose
I loved it!

My current cat starts to scratch at the sheet near my face.
She gets closer and closer until I have to wake up or risk
