Spray Foam Insulation in Crawl Space: Open Cell vs Closed Cell

Just had the crawl space (roughly 4 ft in ht) cleaned out due to rodent damage. I'm thinking of having the floors insulated with spray foam and have gotten several bids.

Two bidders recommended about 7.5 inches of open cell foam to get R-30 and the other recommended 2 inches of closed cell + R-19 fiberglass batts for at least R-30. The total for this job was $600-800 less.

I like the idea of the closed cell foam since it's a better vapor retarder and may also add some structural rigidity, but I'm not sure the fiberglass will hold up as well as all open cell foam. I would like to keep as much moisture away from the subfloor as I can as we will be installing some expensive wide plank Cherry floors.

Any thoughts on open cell vs closed cell? Does it matter one way or the other in this situation? Our Seattle weather is classified as a marine environment. It's cool and wet in the Winter and mild to hot and dry in the summer.
