Hi Everyone! I was on Heirloom Roses site for several hours and I am champing at the bit to order the 2 I fell in love with; Morning Has Broken and Frau Karl Druschki. But I've got to wait till the first of the month.....payday...POOP!! Oh I was truley pitiful in my begging but I still have to wait! Heirloom Roses was the one place I found the love of my life(besides my husband, of course..) and that would be Lynn Anderson Hybrid Tea. Look it up! It's breath taking and it does VERY well during the winter with snow getting to about 3' high (I live in zone 8) If for some reason the roses I want aren't available be- cause I waited......SOMEBODY.....will hear about it and hear about and hear about it! Wish I could get alot more!!

sunnishine - Francis Dubreuil was a "he", not a "she". He was the rose breeder that first hired Antoine Meilland (Papa Meilland) to work with roses when Antoine was just 16. Antoine ended up marrying Francis' only daughter, Claudia, making Francis the grandparent to the son of Antoine and Claudia, who was also named Francis. The younger Francis' other grandparent (Antoine Meilland's mother) was Grand'mère Jenny, which also happens to be a lovely HT rose from 1950. Francis Meilland was the breeder of "Peace". Your history lesson for today is now completed.

I ordered a Sani-jet tub during the June "twice a year" sale. Hasn't arrived yet, as it takes 4-5 weeks to be built and shipped. I also took that risk of buying sight-unseen because I like the idea of their jets with no pipes to grow algae and other bugs in. If you look online there are some B&Bs and boutique hotels that advertise their Sani-jet tubs as part of their amenities. Becky, the rep I talked with on the phone, was very helpful in discussing the different options. I did order the grab bars in the tub. Will also have higher grab bars on the walls. Hydronic floor is due to be installed soon, then insulation and drywall installed. Still need to choose the floor tile. With luck the timing will all dovetail. Fingers crossed that it works out well.
