That show started at least a couple of months ago, but it could have been "preempted" a lot.

I know that one of the stars is Amber Tamblyn. Her father is Russ Tamblyn, who was in the movie West Side Story. Amber is a fantastic actress. She was previously on Joan of Arcadia, one of our favorite shows, and she got her start on television on General Hospital (in the early 1990s). She's also been in the Traveling Pants movies.

We haven't caught any episodes of The Unusuals. More and more we don't want to get invested in new shows, only to have them canceled right away. If it's back for a second season, we'll get caught up on the first season and then continue with it.

It is a good show! Has some humour in it as well, which is always good.
I still get upset when I think of Cane getting cancelled a couple years ago, when the writer's strike was on. We were riveted to the tv when it was on. Fabulous! And watching Jimmy Smits was no hardship either!! LOL

It's grown on me- at first I thought some of the characters were too quirky- i.e. the cop with the bullet proof vest. But it's getting better although I think Amber Tamblyn is probably miscast in this role. She was perfect in Joan of Arcadia but here she just doesn't click. I also like another police drama 'Southland.'

i've watched from the get-go, and love it...hope it picks up more followers...i have to disagree mcmann about amber...it's almost true to life...rich girl turned cop, rejecting father's lifestyle...she's a bit stiff but think the writers have written it that way...

mcmann, DH really likes Southland as well. I didn't like the acting in that one though.
2 really good shows are Canadian......Flashpoint and The Border. Flashpoint is really doing well in the States, which is unusual for Cdn productions.

We loved Amber in "Joan of Arcadia" and were sad when it was cancelled. I like "The Unusuals", and have watched it regularly. It's not the greatest show, but enjoyable. I watched "Southland" in the beginning, but had a hard time really getting into it.

I also miss "Cane". It was a wonderful show. Now they are cancelling "The Unit", which is one of my favorite shows....

We have been watching it since it first came on. We like it too because of the quirky characters and the story moves pretty fast too.

Hate to rain on everyone's parade. The last episode will air this week. ABC announced that it is being cancelled (around a month ago).

I am also a faithful watcher and am really disappointed.

I really liked this show from about the second episode on.

ABC did not give it a fighting chance.

I hate getting invested in a new show, characters, story lines, etc. and then it gets dropped.

I won't watch it. My liking a show is the Kiss of Death. It would be cancelled.
