Windsor Get Together with Nita and Mike

What a fabulous time I had with Krysta, Nita and Mike, it was like I have known them forever. If you have never had a Nita hug you need to get one.

Dances and Nita picked me up this afternoon and we went back to Dances house and sat in her lovely Florida room and chatted up a storm. Even Mike joined in our conversation unlike most men I know who would have disappeared LOL Nita has a great guy there. Dances animals kept us amused especially the sweet little kitty Cap'n Jack

Dances went all out and made 2 kinds of lasagna, salad, fresh bread and butter. First time I had ever had chicken lasagna and it was to die for.

Later we took a trip to Nita and Mike's campsite so they could feed Nita's beautiful cats. Their RV is so homey and comfortable and huge All the amenities one could want while out on the road. I was quite impressed. I need to find a man that likes travel and take road trips.

Then we went back to Dances and chatted some more while Nita planned her next leg of their journey. It was sad saying goodbye but I was so thrilled Nita traveled this way to make a visit with Dances.

Great picture of three lovely ladies! I fully agree on the hugs from Nita. She is one of the most special ladies on the planet and a great friend--and Mike is wonderful. I'm just sorry you didn't get a chance to meet Timm...he is terrific also.

thank goodness sam's club novi mi wasn't that flooded but I refused to get out till it was almost over..by then, they'd opened a side door with a bit more shelter...dh was stuck in the covered section till the guy in front of him left, so told him to stay put and made a fast run thru....thank goodness it had stopped...now it's started a more gentle rain tonight...

Hi everybody! We had so much fun getting together with KT friends! Phyllis and Joan, it was feeling wrong not having you there. The weather was absolutely perfect,and I was glad we could be outside. LOL, thanks for the lawn compliment! We live in an association and the crew comes every Thur to take care of the lawn. The dead bushes you can see behind us belong to a neighbor.

Judy, glad that you remembered us, but unfortunately we won't be able to make it. We are going to have a new flooring put in our living/dining room so we have to clear out everything out of this room. Otherwise we sure would.

I have not heard from her in ages. They usually come through here a couple of times per year and we all go to dinner. I miss seeing them. I know she was on the Facebook group and possibly another forum. I hope they are doing well and just enjoying the motor home.

Glad you were able to meet up. I think it's pretty hard not to have a good time with Mike and Nita!

We loved them, their kitties (official ambassador greeters) and of course the motor-home.

You sure look like you're all having a great time. Everyone who meets them agrees that Mike and Nita are just plain good people. I guess their outgoing personalities comes from a career in the military and moving to exotic places. Glad you enjoyed it, Anne. Wish you had time to post more often. Dances sure went all out for your meal. It sounds delicious. I've never had chicken lasagna either.

Agreed always great to have a visit with Nita and Mike! Next time I hope to see the kitties and the RV, maybe we can RV together. That lunch sounds yummy. Lovely.

It was a wonderful time!

Great company for the day, for sure. Of course Max, Ruby, Skywalker, and Cap'n Jack are all wandering around today wondering where all their visitors went LOL.

We had a great time!! I am so happy that I finally got to meet you Anne, you are so bubbly and sweet. The strawberry shortcake that you brought was devine. I loved the custard in it, never had it that way.

Dances, we really enjoyed everything you made. I especially liked the white lasagne, had never had that before. It really tasted a lot like chicken enchiladas. Thanks again for inviting us into your home. Remember you are always welcome to come visit us in Arizona. Just let me know ahead of time so I will be sure to be home. LOL

I loved all your your pets but that Capt'n Jack was just too sweet for words. Too bad they have to grow up so fast.

We had an uneventful border crossing yesterday and made it all the way across Michigan where we are visiting motorcycle friends for a couple of days.
