Get together at Patti43's house (pictures)

We left Timm's house around 11 yesterday morning and drove the hour to Patti's house. We sure were glad to see them. This was get together number 3 at Patti and Harry's house.

That Patti sure is a wonderful cook, we always eat like royalty when we go there. Patti made the best potatoes and I think we all had extra helpings. She also made a ham/pineapple loaf that was so good. Fresh asparagus, rolls and the best triffle I have ever eaten.

We girls had a good visit in the kitchen while Patti was finishing up the food getting ready to put it on the table. The guys were in the living room talking Army and the good old days.

Those four hours just flew by and it was time to head back to the motor home and Timm.

Thank you so much Patti and Harry for inviting us into your home. It sure was fun seeing you both again.

I just LOVE seeing our other members and seeing pics of feisty Patti! I'll bet you guys all had a great time, but how could you not? After all, they are KT-ers!

What wonderful happy pictures to look at. I was there is spirit with you...I could even hear your beautiful voices. Really! That phone call was the highlight of my week! Thank you for thinking of me. I love the picture, but I don't think it's the right size/shape to hang on its own over the center of your sofa. Flanking it would work, but I don't think those two prints that you posted are quite right. A frame would help a lot (and give some contrast with the wall), but I think the scale would still be a little off unless you used a very wide frame. Is there anywhere else in the room that you can use it? Alternatively, would you be open to hanging it on the left of the sofa (where your round table is), hanging the two smaller prints that you posted or more framed scrapbook paper on the oppoite side of the sofa (stacked vertically above the end-table), and leaving the space directly over the sofa empty?

Wow- I am so jealous that I couldn't meet all of my favorite GW kitchen folks. Anyone want to organize the next meet up. I will be traveling a bit but hopefully we can do one in our area in the spring!

Man, it's time to lose 20 lbs. and get a face lift. Ick! I have that "deer in the headlights" looks because Nita reminded us not to blink LOL!

Ruthie you are right. Mike is so nice. He and Nita are the perfect couple.

Joann, we wish you could've been here, too. We'll have to plan earlier next year.

BTW, that wall is not orange (in the picture of the guys). It's the same color as the wall behind us girls.
