American Idol!

A little while ago I realized what day of the week it was and that I totally missed American Idol last night. So, I watched it on DVR just now. Lee was awesome! His eyes are absolutely beautiful too, I might add-lol.

I hope he wins, even though I liked the last 3 left. Caught the very last of tonight's show so I know who lost...but going back now and watch the whole show for tonight.

No surprises tonight. I wasn't wild about any of the 3. Worst season of Idol ever IMO.

I've been hoping these two would be in the finale. I actually like both of them a lot. I think it's been a pretty good season... I think the worst was the first season. Kelly Clarkson was the only singer that was any good at all.

I've watched AI since its inception and IMO, this is the worse season of talent. Not sure why they put through that guy with the longish, curly hair who can't sing AT ALL. There were so many better than him. Don't remember his name. I'm really enjoyed Keith on the show, which I had my doubts how he would be, but, I like him in that capacity. I'm not a Nicki fan, but, most of the time I agree with her thoughts on the contestants performances/singing. She doesn't have a filter and maybe that's what I like about her. Mariah is a snooze for me, and Randy, well, he's just Randy. I hope these contestants get better, because as of now, they are ALL boring...IMO.

Alisande and Lydia, I agree with everything you said. It isn't a singing competition any longer. And some of it is the judges faults for some of the people they put through and save. I won't watch til they get rid of Zoanette. And if they don't, that's fine, I just won't be watching at all. But Raven, I will be hoping for your little girl!

Kree and Angie are room mates. Both are such talented and beautiful girls. It will be a hard battle between them they are both so good but I personally like Kree's voice and style better.

I've finally became a James fan after the last two weeks of hearing him sing. His voice is beautiful when he actually lets it be heard outside of all the screaming from metal music. I liked Casey a lot and also Scotty this week. It was great to see Scotty do something different with his voice, but don't see him winning. I like Lauren too. At this point, I'm hoping it will be Casey and James in the end. They both are great performers on stage over the others as well, and they are quite versatile which is important, IMO. I think Jacob will be going tonight.

I thought Lee was absolutely wonderful last night! When his first CD is released, I'll be waiting in line to buy it! I have loved Lee's voice since the first time I heard him sing. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he wins this season. I've watched every season and personally, I thought this season had a lot of great talent!

I picked these two a long time ago. I was for Crystal from the start, but I've grown to like Lee a lot, so I don't care who wins. They'll both have careers..

I like all of the final 3 so I don't care who wins I think they all will have great careers. I think Lee's would be the only album I would get saying that I don't know I guess I'd have to hear the other 2.

One of my personal favorites, Lilly, was ousted before she could even qualify for the tour, so I was disappointed about that.

But this year's Top 3? Were all terrific. I thought Casey going home last night was the right choice, but have no doubts whatsoever that he will have many opportunities ahead of him. He's such a cutie, and has a wholesome 'look' so hubby thought he might make it to the finale just based on that.

Next week will be exciting, to see what songs Crystal and Lee perform and what modifications they make, while striving to bring their "A" Game to the stage. Technically I think Crystal is the stronger of the two ... but personality-wise I think it goes to Lee. So it's going to be interesting to see how the votes go!

Both of them will have tremendous career opportunities which I hope they take advantage of!

I think Crysal and Lee have amazing voices, both of which are very recognizable. But I'd more lilely buy a c.d. of Lee's songs as I feel his song choices/styles are a little more varied. I feel that Crystal usually always chooses those bluesy Joplin/Etheridge type songs that suit her voice and personality perfectly, but I don't always want to hear the same type of song. I loved Ellen's choice for her as it wasn't one Crystal would typically try herself. Either way I'll be happy, but I'm pulling for Lee.

I'm happy with both but I'm definitely hoping Lee wins. I have no doubts that either one of them will be just fine either way though.

I LOVE how humble Lee is. He reminds me of David Cook. Seeing him so emotional and teary eyed during his hometown made me love him even more. He just seems like a really nice guy who hasn't taken this whole process for granted. And he's grown so much as not only an artist but an individual.

A lot of you said exactly what I'm thinking. I'm glad that Crystal and Lee are in the finals. Lee has come out of his shell and seems so much more confident and has personality. I've always liked Crystal. She is very much at home on stage and knows exactly who she is.

Like somebody said the other day, probably the one who comes in 2nd will have more leeway with their career than the one named AI. To me it's a no-lose situation. I really like both of them.
