BM paint color suggestions - great room

Hi, we have an open floor plan with just a few rooms on the main floor - DR, kitchen and vaulted ceiling great room with lots of windows. We've painted the kitchen and DR Benjamin Moore Bleeker Beige. I want to add more color to the great room, and I'm thinking of a sage green. Any suggestions on a nice sage color that I won't get tired of too quickly. Also open to other colors that would work well with the Bleeker Beige. Thank you!

I have a bunch of greenish tans and tannish greens in my house.

I have:
BM Meditation
BM Coastal Fog
BM Fairview Taupe
BM Berkshire Beige

A toned down jade (mixed with white) would be nice as well...goes with beige, grays, blues, yellows, browns & white. I've picked an amazing muted jade tile for my bath that is gorgeous and I personally don't think you can go wrong. The difference between jade & sage is that jade has more bluish hues.

Btw, recently I read in some design blog or mag that green is THE color now.

Sage, grayed or even apple-type greens work wonderfully with a blue toile. Adding a green might be a nice way to round out the butter/blue color scheme.

I used BM Indian River 985 in my DR and MBR. I wish I had a good picture of it, but I don't already and I dropped my camera in the lake the day of my Dad's funeral several weeks ago so can't take new pics now. My color consultant directed me to Indian River for the DR after we choose some grays (Nimbus 1465 and Thunder AF685) for the neighboring LR and FR. This picture of it in my DR doesn't show a large swath of color. It looks more brown here than IRL. Definite green undertones. The color chip doesn't do it justice. (Painting of the DR and ugly primed wall behind fridge has been completed since I took this pic.) I just held up my old painted sample of Revere Pewter and think it goes well with Indian River.

I agree you have a lot of gray happening and theyall have different undertones I would probably just choose a white that works do the trim in the same color but semi gloss and matte walls. IMO wall colr comes after furniture choices are made and the colors need to be tested in your space .

Thanks Design Interior South for your comments and reference to “boob lights”. Ha haha ... I am definitely replacing them now! Yes I’ll keep the tile floors but will likely put rugs on them. Staircase...yes needs to be updated for sure. I got a few quotes and it’s nearly 4000 to paint. I can get new spindles and posts for this much which I think would make a bigger impact than just painting. Happy to hear if you disagree. Re the kitchen, I’ll be getting a white/cream quartz countertop with an overhang plus changing the backsplash to match/complement the countertop. Hopefully that will lighten up the very dark kitchen nook. The other option is to paint the cabinets white which I am still thinking about.

azwildcats - thank you, I will look at those colors at my local store, love greenish tans.

zagyzebra - Thank you for your post, that is really helpful. I was just looking at a sage fabric sample and thinking it looked too "minty" to me. Jade might be the way to go.

An Olive tone would go nicely with Bleeker. Like maybe BM Tate Olive?
