Maroon 5 was the first band. They really don't sound so bad on the radio, they just sound awful when they sing live.

I expected this one for sure.....the next ones are going to be a lot harder. I know my fav is David Cook, and I hope he wins.

Well there went the eye candy. I didn't care for the dreds, but the eyes were beautiful.

I liked him and am sorry to see him go. He was different and I like that. I hope he does ok....ok next week Sayesha can go!

Good! Those dreadlocks creep me out. And forgetting the words? Forget about it. I didn't think he had much style except one tempo.

What Not to Wear had a lady with dreadlocks that reached all the way down her back. She said she hadn't washed her hair in ten years! Shudder Nick, the hairdresser, had to cut them off really close to her head because they were so matted (which is how they are supposed to be. UGH!)

I googled it and there is a special shampoo for dreads and then you WAX them. Too creepy for me.

Jason without dreadlocks

He was my pick in the beginning but I just could not deal with those dreadlocks, sure wish he had taken them out, he is such a cutie.

He was fun for a little while--and yes the eyes are gorgeous--but based solely on talent and work ethic, he should have been gone long ago. All the goofy facial expressions, shoulder shrugs and eye-rolling was just silly. Then, at this point, of the competition, to NOT have bothered to learn the words--he just didn't belong there this week.

I like the final three. They're each different, have different strengths, have different appeal, but are all talented, hard-working and have the potential to be very successful. I just wish--as I'm sure I've said before--that David A's father had waited a couple more years before pushing him into AI. He's got the talent, but could really use a couple more years maturity. I just fear that if he wins, too much fame, before he's mature enough to handle it just may ruin his life.

I guess I look at it differently ... I did think it was Jason's time to go ... but as for forgetting the words? After the blasting from the judges for his first song, I'm truely not surprised that nerves got the best of him on the second song. He's one of those who ... one night, they praise him for doing something different ... and another night, they blast him for not sticking to the basic song. I'll be watching the stores for a CD by Jason, because I enjoy his style of music much more than some of the others.

David Cook is all the talk, but I really don't want him to win. I think he'll have a fabulous career with or without being the Idol winner. I just don't care for the style of music he prefers.

I'm hoping it comes down to Syesha and David Archuleta. I doubt it, but I'm hoping.

I agree with you on this but he isn't the only one who has been blasted for either changing a song or not changing a song. This is my first season to watch Idol and that is one aspect that has bugged me the most.

I think we haven't heard the last of Jason. The girls love him. He has a unique style and I like it. I think he wanted to be voted off. I'm sure this contest has been grueling.

David Cook should win hands down. But, David A. will definitely have offers. I bet Simon signs him.

Lol!!! Dreadlocks had to go. He acts stoned all the time. Its going to be between the Davids. I am hoping for Archuletta,and he MIGHT have a chance because he will get a lot of votes from all age groups.The older David is great at what he does, but I dont like that rock stuff,so I wouldnt bother to vote for him.His votes will be in a more limited age group. Older folks like me will vote for tyhe little guy cause hes cute and looks like our grandsons,,,LOL!

I am sooooooo glad Jason is finally gone! Couldn't stand him from the beginning between the dreads & his whole attitude, plus I didn't care for his version of singing, just not my thing. I think David Cook will win but, now that Jason's gone, I'll be happy with any of the 3 winning.

Nope, it can't be between Syesha and anybody. Poor girl has barely made it through for an entire month. I'm betting she's the next to go. Also think her breakdown Tuesday was reaction to the pressure, her lukewarm responses, and ridiculous judges' criticisms. She's probably wondering why people dislike her, being every bit as good a singer as anyone and better than some, yet always ending up on the chopping block. Most people aren't fair in their judgment of her. While they will say they don't like David C.'s style of music, they concede he is "good," "the best," and all that. But, dislike Syesha's style, and she simply is not good - awful and sickening, in fact. Lopsided and unfair, and I commend her heart and sinew. She gets up there smiling and singing her heart out every week. It has to be incredibly difficult.

I hope David A. doesn't win. David C. is a much bigger talent. Between the two of them, I think it goes beyond singing and more so overall talent. That's David C. all the way. I cannot believe the magnitude of his talent.

These are such great observations that this show brings out in people!

Bestlawn, I am on the opposite side of the fence on this David C thing. I cannot watch him, and that voice drives me nuts. As I said yesterday, this is the worst season so far.

FOX has it right....let the American people call in to vote. If you care enough, your fave wins.

This is the first year I have watched AI.

Okay, I'm old and that is not my kind of music.

This has never been a "talent" contest, IMO; it is a popularity contest. The voters have spoken and now there are three, and Jason is not one of them.

If I were going to listen to any of those contestants sing for say 20-30 minutes, it would be Jason. Low and peaceful, not screaming and screeching. The dreads? I don't know why he likes them. Neither do I know why my handsome 6'4" DGS wears a shoulder length braid. Like Paula said re Jason: "I could sit on a beach and listen to him for hours." Or words to that effect.

I still think David C will win. David A needs more self confidence. He doesn't realize how good he is.
