What type of insualtion for block wall room addition?

Hello all,

We are in the process of an addition to our 1960s ranch style home. It's a bed/bath addition.

We had the framing completed last week. The walls are furred with 1x2 pressure treated furring strips. They are about 16 inches apart. My question is, what type of insulation so we use?

Do we just use a standard moisture barrier sheet and staple it ot the furring strips? Or, do we use some styrofoam between the furring strips? Any advice?

Also, I am assuming we can use standard R-19 rolled insulation for the ceiling. It's a 2:12 pitch so we won't be able to blow anything in there. Any advice?

Thanks again everyone!
