What a nice picture. Today when I attended a high school senior's open house, another senior told me he was going to Northwestern next year. After I explained that I knew someone in LA whose son is also going to Northwestern, I was told there is a Northwestern College in Iowa and that is where Tyler is going.

Beverly, I've seen lots I didn't like either, they were either too short, or had plunging necklines about to the naval, so low in back that you could see their butt crack (well, nearly), or slit up the side to their armpits. And those were the ones that weren't so tight they looked as though they'd been applied with a paint gun. Sheesh. I was always told there was a fine line between slinky and sleezy, and a lot of dresses this year crossed that line by about a mile. Nope, I liked that little mint green fairy dress with the floaty skirt..... Annie

Thanks, everyoone, for all your nice comments! Suzanne was only 17 when she had Liz, so they are both young! She divorced Liz's father less than two years later, and I'm very proud of all she's accomplished since then. Except for blonde hair (well, mine used to be all blonde) I don't think I resemble either of them, unfortunately. I'm bigger all over, for one thing. And Suzanne inherited my mother-in-law's perfect nose (because I prayed for that when I was pregnant!). Sometimes, though, I catch a glimpse of my mother's family in Liz's face. You be the judge: Here's a picture of Suzanne and me from last year.

Oh so young! When I first got married I was going through the box of pictures and there was my prom picture...DH had ripped it in half so that all that was remaining was the picture of me. My date disappeared. Why it mattered to him I do not know. It was just a date and he meant nothing to me. The only reason I went with him was because my brother made me. He was a friend of my brothers and I didn't want to hurt his feelings.

Lance Armstrong's Kitchen

What Shannon said. Impressive more for the money than taste. How much did he spent on that kitchen do you think?? $200K? Also, the kitchen looks so masculine. I'll bet he won't let any one of his string of famous girlfriends (Cheryl Crow, Ashley Olsen, Kate Hudson et al) set foot in there.

What a great photo! Did Amanda know that there was going to be a purple background when she picked out her wrap? Couldn't be more perfect than that! :-)

Thanks everyone~ actually, the photographer changes the background color for the colors the couple is wearing. Neat, huh?
