My Chuckle For Today

I have already shared this with some of my friends but thought maybe the rest of you might get a chuckle out of this also. As some of you know Amber and I went to some rummage sales today. Our dogs, Lily and Izzi waited in the front seat of her Trailblazer. When we came back, one of them had sat on the console between the front seats and tinkled, with it running straight down and filling the drink holder! Amber said, well I guess we now know how to collect a urine sample!

We couldn't tell which one was guilty as we tried checking but nothing else was wet.

Anyone else have a pet funny to tell?

How nice of the pup not to tinkle on the upholstery! When ya gotta go ya gotta go!LOL That is funny.

That is so funny, especially because it reminded me of me, sort of. We were pulling a trailer with a small tractor on it and the tongue broke, shooting sparks, at 4 AM near Little Rock, on the interstate. After working on it for 2 hours in the dark, Woody left me there at dawn to guard it while he found a guy to weld it. There I was, in the tall wet grass, freezing my butt off, standing at the fence line hiding from view, scared to death that someone would stop and try to steal the tractor or that I was going to be attacked by a pack of wild dogs, I could hear them getting closer, yikes. lol This was a long time ago. After he got back and got us all fixed up and ready to go, a state trooper finally stopped. Woody jumped right down that poor guy's throat, "where the he!! were you guys when we needed you?" We had seen at least 4 troopers turning around about 50 yards down the highway, right before they got to us, even though they had to see our flashing blinkers. Poor trooper, he started stuttering all over the place. We were ticked. I was soaked up to my knees in 40 degree weather, my lips were blue, it was about 5 hours since it had happened and we weren't happy. I'm glad your friend didn't have any real troubles, Trin, other than getting busted by a cop. lol

That is funny...and considerate of one of your puppies. Our Kitty, Buster had a suspected urinary tract problem a couple weeks ago, and the Vet wanted a urine sample from him. He said I should catch Buster in his L. box and catch the stream with a cup, or I could leave him at the Vet and they have special cages so they can get a sample. I left him at the Vet. After all I do respect Busters privacy. LOL

I read this in the Readrs Digest a few years ago.

A guy took his large mixed=breed dogs to town, with the dogs riding in the back of the pick-up. He was in the Hardware store a while when a woman came in and asked him if those were his dogs running around out there. The guy said, no, his dogs were trained and very well behaved. To prove it to her, he went out side with the woman to show her that HIS dogs were still in the back of the truck. Sure enough, there they were, tails wagging and obviously happy to see their master.....except they were in the wrong pick-up. Dottie

That is funny dotmom. Lily has had a bladder infection and Amber did have to get a urine sample from her last week. The stay at the vets for some hours did not produce the required results. She said she was following Lily around the yard with a long handled plastic spoon, hard to get much between a Yorkie's little hind legs. She is on antibiotics. She has to get another sample before she runs out of this antibiotics and take it and have it tested.
