I want to thank my friends here at KT for the nice words of condolences for me when we lost our son last week. It is hard, but I have a wonderful family to lean on. Our Brian knew the Lord and it is comforting to know he is OK and we will see him again. Dottie

Aww...Dottie, you're quite welcome. I am so sorry for your loss. I thought about you today and know it had to be so rough for you. ((Dottie)) Continued prayers and good thoughts going up for you and your family.

Yes, I have no doubt whatsoever that you will see him again. Meanwhile, perhaps he will visit you in a dream or send you a sign. It doesn't always happen that way, but when it does, it's the biggest comfort imaginable.

Your wonderful family is a great blessing.

well said Mona..we all have lives and sometimes they get in the way of our postings...it certainly doesn't mean that we don't care and there's hardly a day go's by that I don't think of you and the battle you're dealing with...I'm right there with you and together someday...we'll look back on this and do a big ole sigh...Motherhood sure is hard sometimes isn't it?

first i made sure that they were defrosted. I cut them into 2 sections---poured BBQ Sause over them and cooked them on low for 8 hours. I could have done it for less time but I decided to take a long nap...lol About a half hour before they were done I poured more sause on them. Samkaren your resident DJ

walnutcreek, you can always adjust the sugar. Be sure and let them get really ripe or freeze them like I did. Banana Jam Description Thick and sweet banana jam – goes great on toast or on pancakes or muffins. Also yummy in a milk shake! Ingredients 2 cups Mashed Banana 2 cups Sugar 2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice Preparation Put all of the ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat and slowly bring it up to a boil, stirring occasionally. Let the jam boil for 5 or so minutes.(I did 15 minutes) for 5 Or you can just pour the jam into a clean jar and pop it in the fridge – it won’t last long anyway! This jam is great on toast, you can spread it on pancakes, you can use it in muffins and it’s perfect for a milkshake..

Hello again dotmom,

I'm sad that you've had such grief and pain to cope with during these past few days, Dottie. It surely is a hard thing to go through such times.

And I'm thankful that your family was with you during such a hurtful time ... their presence and concern does help to alleviate that pain. Sharing with loved ones does help ease it.

We've all had you in our thoughts and payers a number of times in recent days.

OMG Dotty..somehow I missed your post about your son, prior to this one. Please accept my heartfelt condolences and know that G-d ONLY accepts his chosen and he will be in his tender care until you are once again united. I cannot imagine the depth of your loss. My deepest sympathy to you and your family.

Very tough indeed, and so sorry for you, Dotmom. I find when someone close to us passes, if I keep my mind open to the possibility that they might send me a sign or a message I will hear a song on the radio they loved or see something outside that makes me think of them.
I hope your faith and your family will keep you strong and pull you through.
