Are they her twins?

As much as I disrespect Arnold and belive he deserves any bad press he gets, shame on Jane Seymour. Why is she fueling the fire and adding gossip? I thought he was above that. Guess not.

Here's the link to Jane's comments- at the end of the short article she expresses her sympathy for his kids. Seems kind of a low comment. If there are more children it will come out. I wonder why she felt the need to be the first celebrity to make it public?

Here is a link that might be useful: Jane's comment

AND

Americas NBC channel has also reported that at least one other woman has approached Schwarzeneggers lawyers demanding a DNA test and claiming he is the father of her eight-year-old child.

She made a snide comment the other night, that she was surprised it took this long and there was a lot more to come. I used to respect her, but no more, this is way beneath her.

I don't see the difference between her talking and the rest of us talking. It's gossip either way.

They always leave a trail...

LOL Debby!

I think she's disgusted by his misogynistic treatment of women. Because that's what it is. If this is true, he's creating children that he has no intention of nurturing or even spending time with. He treats women like objects. Yes, I know the mothers have responsibility too, but this really sheds some light on his character.

Well I agree that Arnolds character is bad but have you noticed that it seems that most politicians and those in the entertainment industry are like this. It really disturbs me that there's so much of this happening. I guess it does happen at all income levels but it doesn't seem to happen as much with the lower and middle incomes as it does with the upper income levels. It just really sickens me. I know that people have affairs but he seems to have gone over the top.

AS Robin Williams once said,"G-D gave man a brain and a penis, but not enough blood to run them both at the same time"!!

Just sayin'
Kathi

It happens just as much in the lower and middle class; it's just that they are not in the public eye. And I also don't see any difference in Jane Seymour's comments and all of ours. Lol

Of course it happens in middle and lower class families. Why would anyone think it doesn't? It has nothing to do with money. And everything to do with being a horny pig. Which comes in all classes.

I think the difference between her comment and ours is the fact that no one is going to rush our opinions into print or broadcast them. I've already heard 2 different news programs air her comments on TV as if it was big news. I can imagine what the coverage is like in CA.

I'm thinking maybe she had a bad encounter with him on a movie set or something.....and it wasn't exactly like she outed him. The news about other children was out there before her comment.

Why does every care so much about this....????

Arnold has made a lot of money, but I'm not sure I would define him or other Hollywood types as upper class. Money doesn't mean you have class. His sleeping around was more a case of lack of responsibility and morals.

I don't blame Jane Seymour.

I haven't read any confirmation that he has other kids.

The articles I saw on Google were that Jane Seymor said she "heard", "suspects", "thinks" he does.

I guess she felt she needed another 15 minutes of fame.

I'll tell you the way I have seen it work...It's about the celebrity status.....My son-in-law was a coach for a girls basketball team.....they were college girls......and he was also the coach for a high school team........he had been a pro-ball player who got hurt and couldn't cut it so he did what they all do, came home and decided to coach.......My daughter divorced him after two kids and too many times catching him messing around with anyone and everyone......The girls lined up to play with him,.....it didn't matter whether they were 16 or 25, they were always available to him because he had some celebrity status. Were the girls wrong and should they be blamed .absolutely........but they made themselves available and eagerly so and having the ego that he had, he was more than happy to oblige them.........now to finish the story.....One "Daddy" found out about it and had his butt thrown in jail.....most of the time, they kept it hush hush so their little darlings didn't lose their reputation and consequently he just moved to the next willing candidate....so blame Arnold as much as you want to and he deserves it...but I am sure the Ladies had a big part in it......It took my daughter too many years to decide that he had the last chance ....Oh and they threw him in jail about 10 or 12 years after my daughter divorced him so he remarried and then continued to do the same thing ..It was following his second divorce that Daddy put a stop to his playing with the girls...now he is playing with the boys in prison.....

Oh one more thing......My Daughter was in that line too and pretty early in the game......unfortunately she "caught" him and they married but it didn't stop his playing and she was a willing candidate just like the other girls were.....

Yeah, Jane felt so sorry for his kids that she just had to throw more fuel on the fire. I'm sure her hearsay made them all feel much better.

Women can be idiots sometimes. I'm in a band, and simply because we are on stage, girls absolutely flock to our lead singer. It wouldn't happen otherwise, I proooomise you.

"Why does everyone care so much about this?" Good question. IMO it's because Maria Shriver is a Kennedy, i.e. from a famous, powerful, wealthy family.

We live on the Monterey Peninsula, Clint Eastwood's favorite place in the world. We are three miles from Carmel, where he was once mayor, and has his primary home. Funny thing - Clint's current wife is only his second, but he has children by four women (at least). Nobody thinks about it, nobody talks about it, nobody judges him because of it (well I sort of do; I don't think the children receive equal treatment; how could they?). He is very popular here - because he is a nice, polite and soft-spoken man, and because he has given back to this community with wild generosity.

The difference between Arnold and Clint is that C.E. never tried to cover anything up (obviously, lol). His current wife (newscaster Dina Ruiz) knew all about him when she married him. IMO so did Maria Shriver. She's a Kennedy, she knows what rich and powerful men do.

It's like that scene in Gone With The Wind, the one in which Rhett tells Scarlett, "You're not sorry you stole. You're just terribly sorry that you got caught."

I don't know that everyone cares about it so much, as it's just conversation.

I do remember Clint Eastwood getting lots of publicity so it's not like his episodes went unnoticed. But you are right, they are all rich and powerful and political makes it worse....

At her Mothers funeral I heard that Maria said something to the effect, Daddy charmed hundreds of women and they all loved him but he only had eye's for Mummy......oh really Maria?..Even stating it in public makes it sound bad....not to mention questionable..

Californians and the rest of the people should care in case he decides to run for office. Then we decide whether or not we want him there.

But Sable, I don't think Clint had any of those children AFTER he married Dina.

OT, I miss Dina and KSBW. She and I were pregnant with our firsts at the same time.

The more I read about this....the more I appreciate Denny.

Another component to the "power" and cheating correlation to consider is that there's often much more to it than a lack of morals in the accommodating party. If a man or woman is working hard in their career, has a family to support, it's a lot harder to turn down someone who could potentially completely ruin your life if you deny them.

Sure, in a Lifetime movie the man/woman would alert the proper people, the scumbag would be penalized, and everything would end happily ever after but in the real world, it doesn't really happen that way. I could easily see many situations turning into a threat of losing a job or worse. I have no idea if this is the case with Arnold but I've personally witnessed it. And when you have a family or kids to support, it really makes these decisions a lot harder than most people realize.

I am guessing Jane S. new for YEARS and was frustrated everyone who knew has been protecting his "reputation". Possibly it was all for Maria, possibly all dogs help each other. I don't blame her at all for finally being able to speak the truth. All the secrets allowed him to be a governor, which gave him access to how many other women? ruthieg has it exactly right, I said it similarly in another posting. The longer people keep it quiet the more people get hurt, and look at the children that are involved!! Don't shoot the messenger!!

Danihoney - I think you're right. There was a child with his co-star in The Unforgiven, but that was before Dina came along. And I miss her too!

If Arnold is "misogynistic", then what are the tramps that are diving into bed with him? Sounds to me he's horny and taking advantage of his situation, notoriety, or whatever you want to call it. The sluts that are chasing him, oh, that's right, poor abused, hated, distrusted women. Neither Arnold nor the bimbos get any respect from me.

Regardless of how you characterize the women, Arnold's behaviour is misogynistic.

Jane Seymour was on The View this morning and they asked her about her comment. She said that she had no knowledge of any other affairs or offspring and that she apologized to Maria for saying so. She said that she was at the premier of her movie and someone put a microphone in front of her and asked her about Arnold and she foolishly repeated something she had heard. She said she had no idea why she made that statement.

The ladies on the View asked her if she had any advice for Maria since Jane herself has been married 4 times and she had also experienced a cheating husband. Jane replied that she she was in no position to offer advice to Maria and that she was keeping her mouth shut.
