Enjoying 1996 BBC Series 'Garrow's Law'

DH finds some good stuff at our local library.

This drama is based on a real barrister in 18th Century London. William Garrow challenged a court where the accused had no real defense. This also shows him developing the art of cross-examination.

It's a good drama made better because it's based in truth. I guess it will help me bear watching our ex-governor's defense of HIS actions. lol (Rod's defense thus far seems to be that a) He was a poor lad, and b) His actions were 'politics as usual'.)
