HI RITA:I bet you are right, too.we didnt have hardly any rain all summer long, but,I did water every evening.I guess they dont like our city water, like they do the rain.I dont like our city water either, too much clorine in it..I sure can not drink it,so guess the plants dont like it either.The daylilies are looking so green and nice now.only ones with any brown leaves are the dormants and even they dont have many brown leaves. jean

Morning all! Fran, I put in a bit more postage than what it was for me to mail my package to you. I don't think that I'll get back what I sent because we have a lot of veggie growers here, BUT if by chanace you dont have enough postage I'd be happy to send more if you need it to get my package back to me. I'm so glad that I bought the veggie seeds, I could almost hear how excited people were when I offered them up for grabs! Oh, I'm sorry everything seems so tough right now. I had a crying jag a few weeks ago, partly because I worry about dd1 who is staying in India for several months and partly, I'm sure, because of hormones. I'm 49-- are you at that point? I don't mean to offend if you're younger!! Yes, Kat is right on all points, especially pushing you to see a doctor and getting your dh to take his meds. A screwy thyroid can really mess with the emotions. Does he say why he won't take them? There was a long thread about them recently and it was full of interesting information, especially that Synthroid doesn't help some people. We do worry about our little chickies, don't we? It's so easy for me to tell others that all will be well, but I tend to get worked up over my own when I should let them be. How is Sydney liking college so far? I left for a week just after you wrote about taking her to school-- I'm sure she'll have a great time and do well. Sounds like your ds has his feet on the ground and both of your kids are making you proud. I try to remind myself that things usually do look brighter in the morning because I can become more anxious/depressed when I'm tired. I'll make one suggestion that helps me: if you can't sleep, go watch a good sitcom or funny movie! Things WILL look better in the morning.

It seems as if there might have been a leak but these stains became visible about a year ago and have not gotten bigger. I am going to replace the powder room as I made a bothersome mistake when I remodeled it many years ago. I should have replaced the vanity with a new taller, white vanity. Instead, I just painted the existing, original vanity--the end result is that it is way too short. And I mirrored the wall right up to the short vanity. There is no other evidence of a leak-no discoloration, wetness in the caulk or grout, noise, but yet, those rust stains are triggered by wet. But I am just a layperson and Joseph is an expert and others may also be.. So I do listen to you. I really thank all of you for responding--very much thanks.
