'Sister Wives' tonight?

I thought SW was scheduled to be on this evening, but it is not on my (newspaper) TV schedule.

Anyone know for sure?

Tonight was supposed to be the finale I thought. I was just looking for it and its not on. I'm going to the website and look.

I enjoyed watching the show also. They seem like a fairly "normal" family. But how anyone gets a minutes peace with 20+ kids in one house is beyond me lol! The old house had such a good layout for them with each wife having her own apartment. Seems like Cody would waste so much time running back and forth between 4 Vegas houses now, but I guess they weren't able to find a large enough house. Not to mention the 4 mortgages or rents to pay. Not sure if the other wives collect welfare? I've never thought they seem well off. One show they said they hardly ever get delivery pizza b/c it's so expensive. Can you imagine the food bills for that many people? The meals I've seen seem fairly basic. They need one of the wives to be an extreme couponer to get their $1,000 grocery bills for $10! It's been mentioned that Cody has a job in Advertising/Marketing? I think Janelle had some kind of financial accounting job. Meri was working with at-risk kids at a job she loved before she got fired. Christine and Robin stay and home to take care of the kids. I'm not sure what running to Vegas solved? It's not like Utah would stop the investigation just because they moved. I think it was to stop the gossiping and kids worrying about police cars driving by etc. But they brought the attention to themselves by doing the show.

I think they run the previous week's episode right before the new episode, so maybe you can catch it then? If you're referring to Robyn's offer to be a surrogate mother?.... nothing was mentioned at all about that. Good heavens I don't know why they would even consider it... they mentioned that Kody is father to like... 17?... kids already! I don't know if that includes Robyn's first 3 or not, but still.... That's a lotta kids!! So last night they showed this swanky new convertible that Kody got as a bonus for some marketing (?) he did. They called it the perfect "date car". Kody took each of his wives on a date. Meri skiing, Jonelle hiking @ Red Rock Canyon, Christine paint balling & a helicopter ride, Robyn dinner & a movie. Each date they reminisced about how they met/married. He & Meri were only like 20 & 19 when they married (or was it met?) & discussed having plural wives even when they were engaged. They've been married 22 yrs. They talked about Christine & Kody having some issues, & C is probably somewhat jealous of Robyn. And it is not easy being a sister wife,,,, it's hard... blah, blah. TLC must be paying them a mint? I'm not sure Kody has a real "job" but they make reference to "some of their ventures".... But to keep 4 houses & all those kids & now be talking about buying land & building 4 houses close to each other... surely must take a LOT of coin?

Since Kody is *legally* married only to Meri, then my guess is that he might have his name on her checking account, so in that sense he "contributed" to the buying of @ least that one house. I thought there was a bit of hostility displayed in the interview also. But realistically I can't imagine *any* 4 women getting along all lovey-dovey all the time. That's wayyyy to much estrogen for that to happen. I wonder about all this on-going drama over trying to find 4 houses (or lots) side by side. I understand the need & desire for it. But we're talking Las Vegas..... one of the highest foreclosure rates in the country. It's hard to imagine that this has played out for so long. One thing that I get impatient with is women crying on TV .... and they are trying to sop up their tears with their fingers & not mess up their make-up. GET A TISSUE! These 4 all did the requisite boo-hooing,,, it's part of the shtick ... & not a one had a freakin' TISSUE!!! /rant I kinda like the characters. They all seem like good & genuine people. I cannot imagine sharing a husband, tho'. ~~shudder~~

Susan, they were building the 4 houses at the end of last season, so I would guess they've moved into them. If I recall correctly the oldest son had chosen to go to college at UNLV ( there in Vegas).

I seem to remember a blurb, last Sunday about a follow up or something, in a couple weeks. They may want to get settled in new digs, for the final, final. I double they will be on another season.

According to my daily scheduler on Dish Sat. Sister Wives is scheduled for June 5th The family starts to build their new life away from Utah; one of the wives has news to announce to the family.

I think TLC could have at least put up some kind of notice about a schedule change. I know I saw the Finale advertised for May 29th.

On the May 22 show they had arrived in LV; they were signing papers to rent one house for 30 days. And I read somewhere that Robin is pregnant.

I didn't watch the Big Fat Gypsy Wedding. So there, TLC!!

The big Fat Gypsy Wedding was on tonight. There was an ad that Sister Wives will be back June 6th I think.

Well, I did watch Big Fat Gypsy Wedding, and in my opinion, what a bizarre group of people. Worse that the kids beauty pageants. Little girls dressed in ridiculously over done dresses with high heels and make up......for their first communion! It made the beautiful and solemn rite, a circus. And did you see how they dance? Like they were practicing to pole dance and the way the teens posed for pictures like they were doing porn. I did feel a little sorry when their camp was destroyed, but if they didn't own the land, then they were squatters. I guess I didn't realize Gypsies still existed.
Sister wives will be on next Sunday. I'm wondering if they will be back for another season. I suppose if they can live in LV without being harassed, they will, especially with a new baby coming.

What kind of work does Koty do in order to support all those kids? I know the other wife works too but that can't be enough. Thats crazy having MORE kids.
