Azzalea...you pretty much expressed my thoughts on this family. Like you said if they were like some, (actually, dirty filthy, perverted) old men "marrying" young girls, I would say....hang em high. But these are adults, seemingly decent people. As for their income, it has been said the the guy works, but I've never heard, doing what, and a couple of the wives, maybe three of them also work. I felt so sorry for them on Sunday's episode when they were trying to move and they had all of the car trouble. I hope they find a place where they cam live in peace. I wonder if they regret doing the show for TLC.

My words exactly. I can't help myself I have to watch it too. I am torn also and feel so bad for them. I agree its wrong but the deed is done so now what, pull a family apart? I like them for some reason and hope it turns out good for them.

I don't happen to watch that show but I saw a preview where the father announced to the family that they were moving to Las Vegas. Is that because they're being harassed? The poor kids looked so miserable.

I didn't even realize it was still on. I watched once, no more. I was fascinated with the lay out of their house, where each wife had her own story or wing. But I was, frankly, bored. And I don't condone this "lifestyle".

I have watched from day 1. I think polygamy is wrong, but I also believe "living together" outside of marriage is wrong.

I have wondered about Cody's "job." He has referred to it, but I've never heard what it is. Are they getting welfare? I don't know. They seem to be very "well off."

I believe he was "threatened" with prosecution, or he assumed he would be.

The one thing that has bothered me is why they felt they had to leave at night? To me that gave the appearance of feeling guilty.

I thought Las Vegas was a strange place to move to, but Cody said there is religious freedom there. ??

So many mixed feeling about this whole situation.

I will definitely be watching Sunday night.

As to jobs, it's been my impression that Cody and Janelle both hold fulltime jobs. Meri had a parttime job, but was laid off (fired?) when her marital status became known because of the show. I don't think she's found a new job yet? Robin had a job before marrying Cody, but it was too far away, she left it when she moved to their community. Has she gotten another? I haven't heard, and she is pregnant now, too.

Actually? Vegas isn't so odd at all. Are you aware that the city was originally created by Mormans? And given it's free, anything-goes atomosphere, perhaps it is a place where the Browns won't have to worry as much, and will be able to live in peace. Hope so.

I have watched this program since Day 1 also. I know I couldn't become a polygamist, I woul be too jealous over the other wives.:o) But these do seem to be good parents, they watch over their own kids and their sister wives' kids too. I really feel sorry that they had to move and the kids have to start over in another school. To me Cody is legally married to one woman and the others just live with them, sharing in the benefits of marriage and family. I cann't see them marrying an underage girl, but these are all of age women. Just my opinion!

I enjoyed watching the show also. They seem like a fairly "normal" family. But how anyone gets a minutes peace with 20+ kids in one house is beyond me lol! The old house had such a good layout for them with each wife having her own apartment. Seems like Cody would waste so much time running back and forth between 4 Vegas houses now, but I guess they weren't able to find a large enough house. Not to mention the 4 mortgages or rents to pay. Not sure if the other wives collect welfare? I've never thought they seem well off. One show they said they hardly ever get delivery pizza b/c it's so expensive. Can you imagine the food bills for that many people? The meals I've seen seem fairly basic. They need one of the wives to be an extreme couponer to get their $1,000 grocery bills for $10!

It's been mentioned that Cody has a job in Advertising/Marketing? I think Janelle had some kind of financial accounting job. Meri was working with at-risk kids at a job she loved before she got fired. Christine and Robin stay and home to take care of the kids.

I'm not sure what running to Vegas solved? It's not like Utah would stop the investigation just because they moved. I think it was to stop the gossiping and kids worrying about police cars driving by etc. But they brought the attention to themselves by doing the show.

I watch it because I figure it's just a matter of time until we can watch either Janelle or Meri on "Snapped" ( lifetime network)

So tough to keep one wife happy.

I liked the show because it was a (decent) portrayal of a different lifestyle. Not one that I approve, but still interesting.
