Temps were 26 C today. Definitely warm for this time of year....not even the May long weekend yet. Supposed to be below 20C tomorrow (so high 60's) I like that much better!

Finished off the bit of chicken, potatoes and carrots from yesterday's dinner, and had Greek salad with it. I always put some cooked fusili or other pasta in my Greek salad. Love that.

Jasdip, there was a restaurant in Tarpon Springs called Louis Pappas. They had the best Greek salad. It was huge and underneath all the lettuce, olives, etc., was a mound of potato salad. Wish I had that potato salad recipe--no eggs, but creamy and yummy. I would think that 40 cloves of garlic chicken would be even better the second time around--was it?

Ohhhh it is so good Patti!!! We really like how the potatoes pick up the flavour of the garlic. As you know, garlic gets real nice and mellow when it's cooked.....not like raw or sauteed at all!

I was wondering what to serve if I just simmered some potatoes in a bit of broth with a bunch of garlic, just for the flavoured potatoes! Pork chops or pork tenderloin, maybe.

That Greek salad with potato salad underneath sounds delicious.

I copped out and cooked a Lean Cuisine. It was Steak Tips Portabella. It won't make it to another grocery list of mine. Oh, well, nothing ventured, nothing gained. At least the steamed broccoli was good.

Lasagna with garlic bread

The grandsons spent the night with us Saturday and wanted hot dogs. Grandson #2 has a tball game this evening and DH is having a chili dog after the game. I will freeze the rest of the chili, weiners and buns for another occasion. LOL

Gadgets, I had that Lean Cuisine at work the other day and found not one mushroom in it.

Tonight we had pork roast that was marinated in basil tomato marinad overnight and cooked with tomatoes and tomato paste. It was pretty good, over wide egg noodles and peas on the side.

Shirley, it's too bad you didn't care for it. It sounds really good. I love portabellos.

Trixdie, I'll have a chili dog, please! I'd love to have a chili sauce recipe that tastes like DQ's. Miss Piggy here can't eat just one!

I bet your house smelled wonderful while your roast was cooking, Kathleen! Sounds good.

Forgot to tell you the fish was really, really good. The sauce wasn't too much heat after it was with the rice. I have plenty of sauce left to pour over chicken later this week. ;-)

Kathsgrdn: I forgot to mention that little item of NO mushrooms in the entree. Is that false advertising? ;*)

Today was one of my bad days, you know some good some bad. So you are correct not thrilled tonight. Hope I can manage a few bites, I am sure that the bakery fresh French Bread will cheer me up! The dreary weather today probably contributed.

Oh Tarpon Springs brings back the memories when living in Clearwater for a summer. I'd drive over to Tarpon Springs and buy their rock shrimp.

Killed my hands cleaning them, but oh so good when we cooked them outside on the grill and had drawn butter for dipping.

I'm drooling.

Hamburger Heaven, on the run, today, for a quick quick blt and chips.

Had to take GS for his final dermatologist visit.

Mike grilled steaks while I cooked sweet potatoes in my new micro potato bag. I also made us a nice salad.
