best sink for 30 inch cabinet

I am going crazy trying to find a double sink for a 30 inch base cabinet. I am hoping to find 2- 14 inch wide sinks, 9 inches deep, but these all fit 33 or more inch cabinets! I want one side for washing and one for draining, in my limited space. Does anyone have recommendations?

I was in this exact position just a couple of weeks ago and posted a really similar message.

There aren't too many options out there for that set of specifications. The one that probably best fits the description you want is the Blanco 512-748 (see the link below). It's 29" total, which means that your installer will have to notch out part of the cabinet to get it to fit. It is really nice looking in person as one of my friends just got it and I think it looks great. Although I really wanted this sink for the same reasons that you mentioned, I couldn't bring myself to buy it since the price tag was near $800 cheapest.

I ended up buying a Ticor S315 from Galaxy Tool Supply for $198. It's 28", but only a 1 1/2 bowl sink. However, it fit my budget, and everyone on this forum doesn't have enough good things to say about Ticor or Galaxy Tools, so I figured it was my best option considering.

I have a double bowl now, and will put a double bowl offset in my new kitchen (link below). I'm having cabinets built, and the cabinet maker will measure the sink to make sure the sink cab is wide enough - if it isn't 30", it will be awfully close. I wanted a 30" sink base to maximize the storage on either side. The large bowl in the new sink is larger than my current sink. The garbage disposal will be in the smaller one. If a sink is undermounted I don't think it affects the look w/the cabinet...it's the look with the counter that would be affected. I've seen pictures in the past and as long as your counter run is long enough (which it should be if you have decent workspace around it!), it looks fine! Go for it!

Having seen the picture, I think it will be fine. Unless the cabinets sides are exceptionally thin, cheap and weak (as in 3/8" thick) that there will be plenty strength in the cabinet even with the 1" of the 1 3/4" face frame removed. Part of the strength the face frame gives helps to prevent racking, and the adjacent cabinets will serve amply to support that cabinet. Also I'm not sure GreenDesigns concerns about self-cleaning being a problem hold up. Since the oven could be installed in a frameless 30" wide cabinet, your cabinet will have at least that much room inside the cabinet, and likely a little bit more. (Although with that said, I've never used the self-cleaning function on my 30" wall oven (which is in a 30" frameless cabinet) so I can't say it'd be OK for certain.) I do think that the shelf that will support the oven will have to be sturdy and sturdily supported. I'd use finish grade 3/4" plywood, and substantial blocking beneath the shelf to support it -- possibly even 1/2" plywood sheets that reach from front to back of the cabinet and from the floor of the cabinet to the base of the oven shelf. Plus one across the back of the cabinet, and a new face frame piece across the front of the shelf.

It may if that is the outer dimension. The clips that hold them in place are usually another 1" or so, which means it's pretty close. They may have to notch the inside of your cabinet. If 27" is the inside bowl width, I do not think it will fit. (assuming this is an undermount sink)
