Katie, I am in CT, north of Hartford. Where are you? Remember the model of pullout and the size will depend in part on where your GD is. If it is in the center towards the back, like mine, the basket needs to sit in front of it and the base needs to slide under it. If your GD is on one side and you have double drains, like chefkev, your pullout will more likely slide under the plumbing like his does, and the GD will be on the other side. If you have a single drain on one side instead of in the middle, that is the best of both worlds, you might be able to use any bottom mount that fits your door opening. Here is a picture of it sliding under the GD. I had to tape the cord up because I was reusing my old GD and it barely fit and then I realized when I measured I forgot to allow enough extra space for the cord. When it is time to replace the GD I will get a slightly smaller one. Let me know if you need more info or photos. It would help if you posted what you have for a sink and drain setup also, and what side the DW is on, as well as the GD. Sue

Well it's all about dimensions. If the ID of the cabinet is greater than the OD of the sink + space for the clips (that hold the sink to the underside of the cabinet) then it will work.

I have an undermount Blanco Stellar 28" stainless steel sink, with drain offset to the center rear; this was the largest sink for a 30" cabinet that I found at the time - I wanted the offset drain to maximize the storage space underneath. The product description says it requires a 33" cabinet, but it fits nicely into my 30" cabinet. I have a garbage disposal, and a soap dispenser too. The sink is plenty big enough for cookie sheets (26" interior length!) I am very happy with it. BTW with the offset, center drain/garbage disposal, I have room on one side for a pullout for the trash and recycling (from Rev-a-shelf), and a shallower pullout on the other side (because of piping in the rear of that side, from Target) that holds the compost pail (the small Ikea stainless steel step-open trash can), sponges, cleanser, and so forth. I also added an Ikea Variera pullout- about 5" w 21" d 4" t -- that attached to the side wall of the cabinet, for sundries like an small extension cord, tape, tape measure. Unfortunately I don't think Ikea offers that anymore - but perhaps something similar is out there somewhere.

Random thoughts: - No problem with a smaller sink in a slightly larger cabinet; however, I don't get the point in a laundry sink. You can do a pre-soak or a gentle wash in a washing machine. Seems like one more thing to cost money and one more thing to break. I'd much rather have a cabinet top on which to set my basket. - If it did look funny, so what? This is a garage. If it were inside, I'd say, the same thing: so what? It's a laundry room. - I'd actually rather get rid of the cabinet and un-stack the machines. Of course, I think that because I am very short. I tried stacked machines in the store and realized it would never be a choice for me. - To avoid splash problems, run a piece of laminate up the side of the washer/dryer cabinet.
