Try to do some imaginary dishwashing with a deeper front-to-back sink and see if the extra inch will bug you. (I think you'll find it just lovely to have extra room in the sink.) The deeper sinks bother my back because the faucet is too far back because I'm short BUT it's still worth it--I just have to get giant faucets. Once I figured that out my problems of oversized sinks were solved. Yes, I do go overboard on sink size, but I don't regret it. (And the Tapmaster foot controller makes it very comfy.) As far as whether or not you can fit a faucet, your counter (and backsplash) will affect what fits. Remember you add 1.5 to 2" of overhang on the front, so it's possible...good thing to keep in mind though and hopefully someone can guide you on that.

Havens Metal When I was remodeling I did a lot of research on copper sinks once I decided I wanted one and so I knew that I wanted a sink that had a living patina and not any kind of artificial factory patina. The sink is expensive - a luxury but I love it. The other maker of high quality sinks is Rachiele and they are equivalent. Havens actually fabricated the Rachiele sinks for many years until they went their separate ways. When I purchased my sink, Havens was about $1000 less for the same configuration. The quality is equivalent but Havens is a slightly larger operation and makes more than sinks so they have economy of scale to some degree. I do have a less expensive copper sink in my guest bath with an artificial factory finish. I was fine with that because it just doesn't get the same kind of wear from people washing their hands a few times a week. That sink is from Premier Copper Products. I mention them because they do have some great copper stuff that is well priced. My hood is a custom job from them and they also did a custom copper medallion my designer sketched for them. I also have some copper tiles from them interspersed in my back splash as well as switch plates. Premier Copper

Normally, a 33" sink (32" inside dimension) will need a 36" cabinet to be properly mounted. Bumpouts look best if they aren't just the cabinet by itself. It needs to have decorative fillers or columns to each side. That means that you'd need 42" for a bumpout for your sink. Some cabinet companies offer 36" deep sink bases with angled decorative sides, but some sinks will not fit into them because of the angle without scooping some of the front. Often if you want to increase the space behind your sink, bumping out the whole run is more useful. It gives you additional space for those small appliances as well as for mounting your faucet.

Did you order an apron front sink base or just a regular sink base? A regular sink base's doors are too tall for an apron front sink and when one retrofits an apron front sink into an existing situation, they usually eliminate the doors and put in a curtain under the sink. If you want a farm sink, and haven't ordered a farm sink base, then stop the order, pay any restocking fee, and get a farm sink base. In the end, it will be cheaper and look better than attempting to hack into a brand new sink base.
