I'm sorry I haven't kept in touch. I come and read what you've all been doing, but I seem to be sleeping way more than I should. Besides, there really isn't much to contribute. My meals are mainly pureed Stouffer's (excellent BTW) or something from the freezer--and I make large batches of pureed oatmeal for breakfasts. I am trying hard to gain weight. And my social life consists of doctor visits and picking up prescriptions. Lordy! So there you go, my life, as it is today, in a few sentences :-)

I'm still moving back down south but don't know when yet. I know I'm not ready physically for a move. Hopefully, by the end of June I'll feel more like it. One of my ex-SIL's and her daughter are coming for a visit next month and so is Harry's daughter and my SIL. So maybe I'll have more to write about then!!

I'll try harder to try to participate--I get such a kick out of reading that sometimes I LOL!

Glad to hear your update, Patti. Sleep is healing, so don't worry about sleeping too much. And keep reading (and posting when you can) at the KT. We're such an entertaining bunch. LOL

Patti, it is a relief to hear from you. Maybe you could just add a "hi" to a thread so we can know you are ok? Good wishes for continued and speedy healing.

I know what you mean about the meals. Mine consist of oatmeal and salads. Not very exciting but while you're trying to put weight on, I'm trying to take it off. This winter was not good health wise here, either, and I spent a very sedentary several months. I have a bad metabolism and gain very easily. I'm starting to get back on track and feeling much better. Thanks for responding. I think of you all the time and have been wondering how things were going.

Patti, thanks for the update, I was beginning to get concerned about you. You seem to be doing well, and handling your restrictions like a trooper!

I see you are still a Stouffers fan, like I am, and I also eat a lot of oatmeal. Pureed sounds interesting. I recently found new-to-me frozen foods that are the best ever. I know you are trying to gain weight, but even though many of these are Weight Watchers approved, they are so much better than any others I have been buying, you just might enjoy eating more of them. I like the small size packages and I think pureeing them would be great for you; also the Blending Ins.

It's so good to hear from you, Pattie. I think of you so often. Did I ever tell you about the time my ex had some serious dental surgery and couldn't eat solid food for a couple of days.

I made a pot roast with all the trimmings one day and a roast chicken with veggies the next. His servings were whirled up in the blender with gravy, lol. He was thrilled.

I'm so glad you updated us, Patti, Rhizo, I remember when you posted your roast chicken and veggies puree for Robert. LOL

Patti, I guess I missed that you are moving. From Florida to where? It must be closer to family, I'm assuming.

I remember blending everything for my son when he had jaw surgery. He even enjoyed his birthday cake and ice cream from the blender. And you know you can have cake any time, right? So blend on.
