Maureen, you must know about those retired Army sergeants, they're going to go on their own schedule. The doctors are apparently amazed and just elated with Uncle Marty's progress, they gave him a stent or a shunt, Aunt Donna doesn't know which, LOL, and he came through against all predictions and continues to surprise them all. He tells me that he's not ready to let me go it alone yet and the doctors just don't know what the h*ll they're talking about if they think he's going anywhere before he's ready. He's still in the hospital, but now the doctors are talking about letting him go home, something they didn't even consider before. It appears that Martin Conley Traynor, Sr., is still doing things on his own schedule, and with the help and prayers of the Cooking Forum may very well leave the Meijer Heart Center as soon as next week. Thanks to everyone for all the prayers and good wishes, not everyone believes it but I know it makes a difference. Annie

You know I asked for an epi-pen for him today and the dr told me he didn't need one. If you could just see the little guy. It was a terrible reaction so I thought for sure he would need a pen but she said no??? Leaves me questioning if we need another dr. Vicky

Surgery is set for 3PM but you know hospital time,could mean in half an hour or later this evening or even actually 3PM! I just talked to DDIL and they did access the port that was left in after his chemo.They were suppose to remove that when they did the last surgery but left it "just in case".Thank the Lord for that! DDIL said he is drugged up right now but really scared about the surgery.I think my other son is going up to sit with him in a little bit which I think will help.I can't go right now because there's nobody to stay with the kids. Granlan-He actually is my youngest and even though he is 33 he still is the baby.He was telling his sisters the other day ,"I'm the baby,gotta love me."LOL Again,I can't thank all of you enough for the prayers.I know there is power in prayer and there are some powerful prayer warriors here! I will keep all of you updated.
