Walk Through Before Closing... Preparations?

In our area, its common to have 1 or 2 walk throughs between the time you go under contract and closing.

This weekend, our buyers have requested to walk through and of course I agreed, no problem. We don't close for another almost 4 weeks. (They will have a final walk through a day or so before closing.)

My question is.... for this walk through, do you clean and prep your house the same way as you did for showings? Or is it more relaxed?

I personally think I should do my "showing routine", but have heard from other people that it no longer matters and to not worry about cleaning too much.

There's no way things will look the same as they did at showings, we're partially moved out and mostly packed up (we close on our new house next week) but I still think the house should be spotless and as tidy as possible.

What do you think? How do you handle the walk through?

I also have to be onsite to let them in (no more lockbox) and am thinking I should let them in, be polite and tell them to take their time... then busy myself elsewhere.

Any thoughts?
