Happy Mother's Day all you moms..what will you be doing?

My kids and families will all be here...

We are have Mexican food.

I'm fixing Enchilada Casserole

One of my daughters is fixing reg. Enchiladas

The other one is bring taco's, Chips and dips

Jeff's girlfriend is fixing guacamole.

I'm looking forward to it...I love American Mex. food.

And looking forward to just have the family together. We have good times.

And I enjoy the great grandkids.

Always pooped when they go home...but it's a good feeling anyway.

Enjoy, Patti. Sounds like a fun (and yummy) day. Harry and I are going to Bonefish Grill for dinner. (Gift card from DD.)

Sounds like a wonderful day to me. My kids are spread all over so it will be just the two of us. DH wanted to take me out for dinner but I'd rather stay home. So, he's going to make dinner for us. He's been shopping all morning. He's not really a cook, but he has this one recipe for a shrimp pasta that is quite delicious so I'm looking forward to it.

I think that would be a fine time to plant them Neil. Luckygal, where in the world are you? Somewhere near a beach obviously--but which one. Sorry no good luck on the TS shopping, do keep trying! Jeanne, I have two baker's racks outside, one is a corner unit--but neither look nearly as cute as yours with your collections and vignettes. I need to work on mine I think. That is so neat that you do the Farmer's market too. Candy, I'm another one who does tablescapes for my "imaginary" friends. DH will only eat at the table when we have company--rest of the time he prefers to eat in front of the tv. Karen, I didn't do a table, but I did glue a little cheese tray and glass dome on a pedestal and decorate it--can I get any points for that? ;o) Kathleen, the rooster napkins like in your photo that you shared with me are some of my favs. We don't do sit down breakfast often, but I like to just sit the table and display them on the plates because they look so cute.

LOL @ yayagal...I was checking in real quick too before my daughter comes over :-) We're going out for a 4 generation lunch. I'm lucky enough to have a grandma who is nearly 103, still lives alone, and is looking forward to going out to eat with us. So even though I have 2 grown daughters, I'm still the granddaughter too! Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mothers Day to all of the Moms & GrMoms. Son and friend are coming over and making dinner at our house, he'll be making Salmon steaks and steamed vegies.

Will be spending the afternoon with my daughter and granddaughter..Hubby wants to take me to breakfast, but the restraunts are usually SO busy on that morning, so would rather make a nice breakfast at home.. then will pick up my granddaughter, that day is also her bithday, and then will meet her Mom and do some girl activities... looking forward to it, cannot believe my DGG is turning 19!

Wishing you all a Happy Mother's Day! My DIL is fixing lunch for us tomorro. She is fixing lasagna, garlic bread and chocolate pudding cake. I am fixing ceasar salad and I think I will make stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer if she wants me to. I am feeling quite pampered.
My DD just called to tell me that she is engaged. So a good weekend all around!

dessert: decadant chocolate cake for two from bakery

yogurt almonds and oatbran sesamee sticks for afternoon snacks.

Happy Mother's Day everyone. We will be having a cookout at Amber and Mike's with everyone pitching in and bringing food. We are not going to have ours until around five in the evening. I went to a Mother / Daughter banquet at our church this evening. Had a nice meal prepared by the men, I think mostly by the preacher. Had cubed steak with brown gravy, chicken tenders, mashed potatoes, green beans, cottage cheese and coleslaw. For dessert we had ice cream, sherbet and some little pastry things with fruit in them. Very tasty meal and very much enjoyed.

I'm going out to lunch with my BEST Mother's Day present ever! My 3rd son was born on Mother's Day, May 8, 1977!

I will be working since I am a cook in a restaurant. We already have lots of reservations so we will be really busy. We have a 3 meat buffet. So when all of you go out to eat think of us who have to work so you can, When I come home I will be by myself because my husband left Friday to take our son down to Fargo ND dor surgery on Monday and our daughter lives in Holland MI. Im sure they will call. I figure by the time i get off of work at 3 I will be so tired it wont matter if im by myself.

I'm having a wonderful Mothers Day. My furbabies (those are my kids) let me sleep in this morning and convinced me to take an early nap. My little one woke me later when he brought his toy to me and pawed at my cheek. Right now we are outside on our deck enjoying the weather...they are playing in the grass while DH is doing yard work.

Also...cooking a roast for dinner tonight.

we got a huge mother's day surprise! first, got to see our youngest dgs walk...but what he was wearing??? a shirt that said "i'm going to be a big brother"....

this time NO invitro! they got preggers the old fashion way, grand baby #9 is due dec 31...

Went to our local Mayfaire yesterday and DH bought me a slide to go on my chain. This morning DS, DIL, Grandson Asher took me and DH to breakfast then we went to a local playground and watched Asher play for two hours. Took tons of pictures of him having fun. DH is taking me out to dinner so I haven't had to cook all day.
