Thanks for the feedback. rustyj14, just to clarify, I wasn't really asking about disposable bags, like the plastic "contractors' bags" you mentioned. I find them very useful, too, and I do use a lot of plastic or brown paper disposable bags like that for curbside pick-up of some kinds of yard waste. In addition to those, though, I'm thinking about some sort of a durable, permanent, non-disposable bag that I could use instead of plastic garbage cans for hauling bulky material from one part of the yard to another, where I would then dump it out and re-use the bag. For example, I've included a link below to a page featuring the kind of thing I'm inquiring about. If you or anyone has feedback or recommendations about what styles or brands of this kind of bag I should look for or avoid, that would be great. boltonranger, I would love a good chipper/shredder, and indeed that might be part of the solution (although I suppose I'd still end up having to haul material to the chipper shredder, and/or hauling shredded chips away from it). I think of a chipper/shredder as the kind of machine where the high-quality models would be prohibitively expensive, while the affordable models would be poor quality and not worth bothering with. But maybe that's not true. I imagine that in the current economic conditions, there are bound to be some deals to be had. I'll start poking around on craigslist. It's another product category that I'm not especially familiar with. If you have any suggestions or advice about good or bad chipper/shredder models, or features that I should look for, I'd appreciate it. Thanks again for your help with all this. Hey you guys. : ) OK a yard is roughly equal to a meter - a little bigger, I think. (I'm from Canada, so I wasn't sure the exact difference, so I googled it.) I could always get 2.5 meters, or so, to be on the safe side. Thanks for the detailed info, francy. I actually didn't realize you made the 2nd, longer, apron and just shortened it. I thought you had made #1. So, that's good to know. Yes, I agree, budster, it would be fantastic if you would make the apron. : ) Accompanied with photos; and a tutorial - lol. ; ) (Totally kidding.) I realize you have lots on the go. A question (one of many), is it 'normal' for those with the sewing bug to, um, accumulate patterns? They weren't as expensive as I thought they would be, and I picked up a few Simplicity patterns. Plus, I got a teeny pattern for a little 'patch' bag. Also, I went into a really great sewing shop, where the people working there were so friendly and helpful. They are also a dealer for the Husquavarna (I'm pretty sure that was it), and Janome. She eagerly showed me some 'feet'; and I bought 2 of them (not very expensive, which was surprising). I have information overload; but one of the feet is called, "Adjustable Zipper Foot - Low Shank". I believe she said it sews over 'humps'. I'll have to ask her again. I'll post of photo of it, and see if you guys know anything about it. OK, I googled 'jean-ama-jig' and it's definitely not similar to that. Hmm, I'll see if the jean-ama-jig is available in any of the stores around here. Stay safe Ron. That doesn't sound like much food to take. You should take some Tuna in a foil package for protein. Well, I guess the less food you take the less TP you need. LOL! What about water or do you just use the "tablets" to sanitize the water?

Roxanna......yes that's Mukdenia. Hasn't developed the red around the edge yet this year. Have several mixed in different areas. If you like it check out 'Mukgenia' — a new cross of Mukdenia and Bergenia.Great plant! This is a small one I just got.... Jo....two years without slugs....don't know where they went and I ain't asking! Cup of Grace is a spectacular hosta.
