I had an odd corner in our master bedroom - the room has six corners, due to a pony wall that semi-divides the sleeping area from the sitting area. I put this little chair in the corner facing the bed. It takes up just enough space visually, but not much physically, it suits the decor, it's more comfortable than you would think, and it does the job!

Corners can offer unique opportunities.

Here are two corners in our Family Room. One provides an out-of-the-way location to display our antique propeller. The sofa in the other corner has a slight curvature and behind we placed a sofa table to hold a lamp.
