Kind of went through something similar. Our kitchen layout has the fridge by a wall that comes out (deep) 36 inches. The space is 36 inches wide. ThPrevious owners put in a side by side and I didnt notice until after we moved in the fridge was pulled out to the end of the wall creating a gap of about 3-4 inches behind the fridge. I thought this was odd, pushed the fridge back and then I realized the problem. The doors on the fridge would gouge into the wall. Every darn pen or piece of paper seemed to fall behind the fridge. Drove me nuts. So anyway, to actually get the right fit meant going with a fridge that was smaller. One where I could open the doors and access the trays. I bought a fridge that is 30 inches wide giving me 6 inches to play with. New fridge opens all the way without issues.

Mine are opposite each other and right angles to the fireplace. I've got a big chair at right angles to the sofa, opposite the fireplace. The equivalent corner next to the loveseat is the traffic flow into the dining room. In the past I've put the sofa and loveseat at right angles to each other with the chair opposite the couch. Either way seems to work well. My DH and I disagree about the coffee table, which is a rather large glass-topped square--he thinks it's too big, and I like it.

I am an interior designer and have recently been very disappointed with the quality of Norwalk upholstery and the unwillingness of the company to rectify issues. My client purchased a sectional and within 3 weeks of delivery a hole on each corner of the arm has appeared where the fabric has rubbed against nothing but wood. There is no padding in between the fabric and the wood and the fabric was not backed to prevent this. The other issue is puling of the fabric on the side of the sectional near the back corner creating a ripple effect. The company has refused to fix these issues. I have a very unhappy client and would not recommend them.

Horrible Sofa.. I bought the Sven Leather sofa and the back cusions got flat in 8 months, we put it in front of the TV qnd use it daily. ARTICLE sent me the back cusions replacements, but they leather color is lighter, faded and it seems very stiff (maybe storred incorrectly). I instered couple od dawn pillows in the back cusions which bought me around a year. Now it looks horrible and deformed. Now installing the replacements which would probaby last 8 motnhs as well, then will add the dawn pillows to buy another year. will end up getting 4 years out of this thing!! The side round pillows sagged after a year, they sell them for $180! My 12 years old Ikea leather sofa which I moved to the basement has 0 sag what sp ever! Very comfortable, no sag what so ever, the leather peeled off little at some placese, corners but thats about it (after 12 years). Do yourself a favor and buy from Ikea, they have some high end leather sofas, prices are close to Article and quality is much better!
