Guest Picks: A Sofa Bed for Every Style
Make room for visiting friends and family with a sleeper sofa that converts in a pinch and fits your home's look
With the holiday season fast approaching, I thought it would be useful to pull together a range of different sofa beds currently on the market both here in the U.K. and in the U.S. I find that as I get older, I'm increasingly spending the festive period, or weekend celebrations for holiday events, at different homes of family members. I recently invested in a sleeper sofa of my own for this very reason, as I'm soon to be hosting family in my new apartment. You can see which design I bought, among others, below! — Will from Bright.Bazaar
Contemporary Sofa Beds
I like that Sofa.com lets you choose any fabric to upholster your chosen sofa bed design. I think this rose pink looks very pretty against the dark walls.
Relax Sofa Bed, Bocaccio Fabric
Aubergine is not only a big color trend right now, but also a very cocooning hue. It is perfect for the cooler winter months.
Louis Compact Sofa Bed
I think this compact sofa bed would be great for a studio or a small, one-bedroom apartment.
Knap Sofa Bed
I recently enjoyed learning more about Scandinavian design at the London Design Festival, so the Knap sofa bed by Per Weiss is now one of my firm favorites.
Puccini Chair Bed, Apple
The apple green color of this single sofa bed would be fun in a first apartment.
Stay Chaise/Sofa Bed, Violet Felt
I love how this colorful chaise converts to a sofa bed. It's stylish and practical.
Agoston Light Brown Faux Leather Sofa Bed
Choosing a faux leather fabric makes the sleek look of a leather couch more affordable.
Flex Orange Sleeper Sofa
As a big color lover, I couldn't not include this bright orange sleeper from CB2.
PB Deluxe Sleeper Sofa
I love how this sleeper sofa from Pottery Barn looks almost exactly like a proper bed.
Teal 'Dante' Fabric Sofa Bed With Dark Feet
This sofa would make a great color statement in an all white space.
Porto 2 Seat Sofa Bed, Grey Fabric
I had to include the Porto sofa bed from Habitat because I recently ordered it for my spare room. I love knowing that it's being made in Italy.
Window Daybed
Daybeds always create a cozy feel in a space, and this one from West Elm feels particularly tempting for an afternoon nap.
Double Decker Daybed
I like how the mattress for converting this daybed into a sofa bed is cleverly incorporated into the base of the design.
Bosco Dark Grey Sofa Bed
I think this sofa bed could make for a great statement piece in a modern scheme.
Sidney 3 Seat Sofa Bed, Natural Fabric
Although I could only dream of having a home big enough for a couch this size, I thought it was worth including for its total luxe factor.
Parsons Daybed
This piece would be perfect for a simple, contemporary scheme thanks to the clean and straight lines of the design.
