Wow. Dancing with the STARS -- The word "STARS" leaves a whole lot of leeway for interpretation. It used to be that only folks who were in movies or on prime time dramatic television shows were referred to as STARS. A singer or a (gasp!) rodeo cowboy would never be referred to or thought of as a STAR. Personally, I still don't think of a rodeo cowboy, no matter how many events he has won, as a STAR. I don't think of an Olympic gymnast as a STAR -- I think of an Olympic gymnast as an athlete. Maybe we should all write in to ABC and suggest they change the name of the show to "Dancing with Folks who are Well Known Within Their Area of Expertise." For what it's worth, I thought Melissa was, if not THE best, one of the two best dancers tonight. And she only agreed to be on the show on Friday, and didn't get her first rehearsal until Saturday morning. With the exception of Holly Madison, who had FIVE DAYS to rehearse, everyone else had FOUR WEEKS to rehearse.

What was her original destination? Hopefully not her doctors office. ;) I always think of a GPS as a calculator. So many people rely on calculators as giving them the right answer and not questioning the answer that they are given. Yes, they're a great tool but you need to know basic math to know whether or not the answer is within the realm of being possible - you might have punched in a wrong number. Just like a GPS. You need to know basically what direction in which you are headed and how far you are going to know and understand if the GPS is giving you proper directions.

Well, they finally had a story on the news, never mentioned Fallon. They said it was 70 miles east of Reno, like Fallon doesn't exist. It's a small town but not that small anymore. Heck, Top Gun moved there years ago from California. They said two people died, lots injured. Hope they were seriously injured. I always wanted to take a cross country train trip but then I hear about these accidents.

Yes, that’s him, Zach. I’m so sad I don’t even know what to say. He mentioned being sick at times, but I had no idea it was that serious. I was just thinking about him a few days ago, and hoping he’d be back to post again soon. He’ll be very missed here on RMG. He always had the very best advice when there was someone he could help—and his sense of humor was amazing. I was lucky enough to meet him in person—and see his amazing garden/property—in 2008 when I was down at Four Corners, staying at a place near Dolores—where he lived. He was devoted to his family and always spent as much time as he could with his children. Rest in Peace and Light, David. I’ll visit you in Spirit when I’m back down that way in a couple months. I love the writing of the journalist too.
It had to be temporary(or not) insanity I mean what sane person puts a sharp razor in that particular area while being bounced about in a car going 45mph!! Really???? The inmates have escaped again!

That was good reading...That journalist is fantastic....We have a local fellow that writes a column on Sat. and his writing is much the same as her's....
Can you imagine what the topic was when the officers got back to the station......

Did you notice that the ad over the mug shot was for a plastic surgeon? What a HOOT! (I didn't think the woman looked terrible. My DMV photo is *much* more frightening.)

Do you think the other inmates will be impressed with her perfectly groomed body? I mean surely she's going to jail....driving without a license and shaving while doing so no less. The truth is stranger than fiction for sure!
