I have never bought a hosta from the hosta library auction but i have bid - so i get all of the fun for free just no hostas to show for it I have bought a few from ebay but i feel safer buying from the hosta library as everyone knows most of the people selling on there like bob axe., jims hostas, naylor creek. stuart ash, etc stuart and bob have had some great streaked plants that i have bid on but they went for a lot more then i was willing to spend not that there aren't great people on ebay also like john but there are also ones you have to watch out for and i would rather not take chances hosta library usually offers more hard to find plants and a lot of streaked plants. I know there was a post that the auctions are from private sellers and not all of the money goes to thl but bob also sells plants there and has to get something for providing the site from each sale so i would rather support that then ebay as thl is a great asset

I like the way they look hanging straight as in the last picture. However, if possible, I would shorten the rod a little. There's a little more rod beyond curtain than I like to see. You've done a great job keeping up with our suggestions and getting back with pictures! I think there is a rule of thumb for that but I don't know what it is, probably about 3".

bebe-3 - Sorry, I'm just seeing your question. I've been trying to come up with my own color, as Limonata is WAY too bright! A quart of white paint later, it's finally looking better. Anyways- The aqua color on my 13 year old's room is a shade by Olympic (Lowes) called Aqua Chiffon A58-3. I took the paint chip to Sherwin Williams & they color matched it in their Supreme Satin finish. It's a great color - Don't let the Chiffon name full ya - it's bright enough for my teen, but not too bad that it sent Mom in a panic! LOL persnickety- thanks for the suggestions! Center the loveseat on the window. Push the sectional over toward the window so it is centered on the wall. The loveseat and sectional will be corner to corner, yes? Use a round table in the space left between the arms of the loveseat and sectional, with a pretty table lamp. Put the red chairs across from the sectional with their backs to the fireplace. Make sure the legs of all the furniture are on the rug. If the ottoman is used daily for propping up feet, keep it. Utility trumps fashion especially in your main relaxing space when you're on a small budget. You could drape a red plaid blanket scarf, a chunky knit throw (beige or taupe), or for summer a silvery grey or taupe pashmina (can be fake) over it to break up the black. You could paint the table that is next to the left side of the sectional a shade darker or lighter than Revere pewter to further lighten things up a bit. For curtains go with natural linen colour panels. Adding some pillows with a pattern will soften the sharpness of the black and red. I'll look for some pics :)
