The description of the address in my family history book says they resided at 48 Harrow Road, in Poplar, Middlesex London England. It says it is "located right by the depot" Then I have another address for them, it is Borough of the Tower Hamlets, Parish of All Saints Poplar, 23 Brunswick Street, London, London England. I knew there was a very slim chance of the buildings or houses still being there. I was just hoping. .it would be really neat to see them. . I really do appreciate your replies. . I only wear if I have to look extra nice and the event is important. Otherwise, I find it to hot and tight, although it does the job. There are so many brands and thicknesses that I wouldn't buy anything without trying it on. Some are so thin (or thick) that I wouldn't want them. Major, nice department stores carry plenty of it. Spanx has several different thicknesses, btw.

Yeah, that Epilady was a horrible invention, wasn't it? I got one for Christmas the year they came out, and I was in tears before finishing one leg. I've had a couple of electrics from Norelco and Braun, and they took a lot longer and stubble seemed to reappear within a few hours. Waste of money, IMO. (DH has hated every electric shaver we've gotten him too. If we won the lottery we'd have his face laser-depilated.) I've always wondered though... do other women really hack themselves up with regular razors that much? I've been shaving on alternate days for the past year since I've been at the pool so much. I use plain old Dr. Bronner's soap or even my shampoo and either a Gillette cartridge type or disposable razor, and it has been at least 25 years since I've so much as nicked myself. I'm not a particularly slow/careful shaver, either; I'm more about getting it out of the way fast and it takes me maybe a minute to a minute and a half per leg. When I first started shaving my stepmother started me out on those "Flicker" razors (recently discontinued, bummer, although you can still find them here and there) that had the ultra-fine wires wrapped around the blades to prevent nicks - those were pretty cool for a 12yo just getting the hang of the whole thing.

It's never 'over' just because you found a dress! LOL Isn't that the truth!! I did get a JNY shrug-type sweater and a black shawl, so I'll decide which one I like better and return the other. Also the "foundation." I doubt I'll get slingback, but I'll get some black strap sandals. Oh yes, and I need a small handbag. Oh yes, I have flaps. My girlfriend and I were laughing the other day about being careful when we wave at people in short-sleeved or sleeveless shirts! (Keep the elbow down!) She's the MOG and is wearing a sleeveless dress.
