I don't post often, my name is rose on the KT and PattiG on the Trivia. I wanted to use PattiG on the KT, but when I registered GW wouldn't let me because I had a different e-mail address. It would have been a lot simpler.

I'm Lydia1959 both places. Wish I'd been more creative with my name, but oh well.

Indianwells must play other games at the trivia site... no way can somebody be that fast the first day they sign up otherwise. SpeedyGonzales might have been a better name! lol Hope he/she checks in here... I think it's more fun when you know who you're playing against.

oh, sometimes I would ask hubby a question that I didn't know, and he would take too long to answer. Not knowing there was a time urgency, I guess. He thought it was a pretty neat site, so he asked if he could join.

donna37 here, and Donnainmo on Trivia. Have very slow computer on dial up sometimes takes forever for the page to load,but it's a daily 'must' to do the trivia.

Same here as there. Still haven't figured out how people answer so fast, lol. It's not the questions, it's scrolling down that gets me.

Sleeperblues, do you have a scroll wheel on your mouse? Makes a big difference for me.

This would be the only time I would like an external mouse. The touchpad doesn't make for speedy clicks and scrolls.

Alisande, no mouse on my computer. I have an Mac laptop, so I have to move over to the right side where the scroll bar is to scroll down. I can only answer 5 questions and then have to scroll down so I lose a lot of time. I have the screen minimized as it goes, and sometimes I can barely read the questions, lol.

I have a sneaky feeling that some members who left in the middle of a hissy-fit (or in a snit) have come back to the KT with an alias. MHO as I'm sure that they would never admit to it!

Sleeperblues, that would slow anyone down! The devoted Mac fans I know would have me believe Macs have no faults whatsoever. Ha! :-)

While doing mine today, I think it would be a great idea if the laptop users who use the touchpad would be in one group, and the mice with scrolls would be in the other group. :D

I love my Mac, I probably just don't know how to use it, lol. It's way more computer than I need, and I am not a techie.

I just read (and added to) the dialogue at the KT Daily Trivia. No wonder Indianwells hasn't responded here! S/he apparently has never heard of us. :-)

I thought that could be the case. Anybody that plays at Funtrivia can join other games without an invite. He/she has probably been playing other games at the site for a while which is why he/she does so well. I guess the rest of us need to get faster (and smarter) now! lol

I'm Casey here and there, but you probably already knew that. I don't know how I manage to get fast times, I just do! LOL

Some tips that seem to help me:

-scroll wheel on mouse
-read quickly! LOL
-you don't have to click in the little circle to pick your answer, clicking on the sentence is fine
-if you don't know the answer don't spend time trying to figure it out. Just pick the first answer and often that's the correct one (but not always)

Oh, and we also have the fastest internet available in our area. Later this month we are getting Fibre Op and it's supposed to be even faster. We will see.

If you go down about 3/4th of the page on the main Funtrivia page you'll see 'private tournaments' listed on the far left, if you click on that you'll see a lot of private and public tournaments that you can join and play. I do not remember if Casey made ours public or private. Even if it is private - the url of the KT trivia is often posted here so anyone finding that thread with a google search or anyone just reading here (even someone who has never posted) can easily join the KT Trivia.

If I've got it all wrong, I hope Casey will step in and set me straight! :)

I just checked the setttings on the trivia game and this is what I have checked:

"Private. Hide tournament from FunTrivia.com lists."

So I don't know how anyone could have found it other than from the links posted here.

I could go one step further but that would require giving everyone a password and I don't think I'll do that - too easy to lose or forget the password.

Casey, maybe FunTrivia's settings are like some of Facebook's.....you set it one way, and the site ignores your preference. :-)
