You don't mention her size, that would help a lot. If she is a large woman or has larger than a B cup then the Genie bra won't work, it's just the "magic" of TV and plastic surgery that helps those D cups be lifted back to heaven. What about a front closure? They are easier than a back closure and might be the ideal thing for her. Most cities have specialty bra stores, try Googling it in your area.

QVC had them a little while ago I got 6 two of each color for I figured it out to be about 7.00 a piece.They do nothing to enhance your bustline IMO, but comfortable as can be..

My Mom is 89 and also decided no more bras she has very bad Rheumatoid Arthritis so trying to even pull on a sports bra was impossible. Plus she is a tiny woman. So she is going the cami route or wearing some type of shirt under her regular tops. We went shopping and got several sets with a matching tee or sleeveless top to go under her shirt. She was very happy and did not feel braless. I am not a tiny woman by far so for me the whole bra issue is a true pain. I have RA also and started having a problem pulling on my sports bras and no way could I do the back hooks any longer. The ahh and genie bra was a comic event when I tried those. I lost 40 pounds since July and having fun buying all new clothes. I don't care that I'm wearing jeans from stores that teens and young adults shop in. The only problem I have is the mid-rise jeans are not mid-rise anymore. They're low rise. I simply wear a belt and bought a lot of tunic style tops. Maybe you need to be fitted properly for a bra. My favourites for years were Aura jeans by Wranglers. But they don't make my style anymore and the jeans they do make have so much bling on the back pockets, and I don't need people staring at my butt. ;) The only problem I'm having is buying a pair of knee high dress boots. My calves are 16" around and most boots are 14" - 15". I've about given up. I did buy one pair of ankle boots that I love. Maybe I'll just find another pair with a bit of a heal on them and give in to defeat. Or defeet..... ;)
