I LOVE this block!!! I'll try to make 3 but it's going to be a busy month so just put me down for 1 right now. For this one, we're OK with any medium shade of blue, right? Smallish prints OK as well as tonal blues?

I'm gonna try to get some cut this morning
I would say any color blue, blue/green, teal, tourquois, what ever you like.
the sellers of the house I want came back with a counter offer and we accepted it so it is just waiting on inspections on our house to be sure they still want it, then we will have 3 weeks to move out. this week we are in a holding paturn so I might get 1 or 2 done. I'll let you know.

if everything works out I will have a sewing room 11ft x 14ft just for me, I could have a large cutting table, lots of storage and get my sewing "corner" out of the living room.

I'm glad Michelle said it was OK to go to the teal side with the fabrics, because I've seen this pattern done in a combination of blues & greens and it was beautiful!

ps it looks like my dreams of a big sewing room may be on hold, the house has some big problems in the inspection. well have to see what they are willing to fix, but it dosen't look good.

Oops! I have been so sporadic on the forum lately - thought I had already signed up & I see that I haven't. So sign me up for 2-3. (My usual response, I always end up doing 3, but worry that just in case I run out of time...Oh well!, my little quirk:)
Doing my own garden this year, (putting in new one @ new house) & also working in flower beds at my moms'(she has skin cancer & can't be in the sun at all) & my daughters'(who works 60+ hrs/wk & doesn't have time) On top of it all I just haven't felt the greatest lately. Not sure why - it's way too nice outside not to be at the top of my game. But I figure that "This too, shall pass..." Right??!

my blocks are on the way too. i don't know how may got away from me to. seems like everyday goes to fast and i'm never caught up anymore.

Mine were sent Monday.

Did mine arrive? If not, Murphy's Law will prevail and they will arrive tomorrow! If you get them before you mail out to the winner just add them to the pot.

I love how I can mail items to Scotland and it gets there in a week but between Canada Post and USPS they can't deliver an envelope to Ohio in 2 weeks. It also had the Apr/May PP block in it.

I have the same situation Mary. I have had mail go faster to England than across the same state to a friend I correspond with. I hosted the lotto for a while when Woodenzoo was taking a little hiatus and know we have some strict guidelines as to having the pieces arrive by the end of the month. But, that being said if they do arrive tomorrow and the postmark shows they were mailed that long ago, I certainly wouldn't object to waiting until the post arrives tomorrow to pull names. That's a lot of work and effort to have it mucked up by the mails.
