Comments (7)I planted Fordhook or Jackson Wonder... can't remember now. I have the same thing happening. A few shot up vines about 24" long. I put in a string trellis along the edge of a 4x4 raised bed and have about three 36" vines on it now. I would not bother trellising or staking. Just turn the runners back over the plant mass and let it go....See MoreAugust Jackson Furniture
Comments (1)Hi! I haven't heard about August Jackson Furniture...but mayby it's because I'm from London. Is he from USA? Recently, very popular in London is Tom Faulkner. His furniture is handmade and he has got a showroom in London. I think that his coffee tables looks really nice, but ofcourse, this is only my opinion. Here is a link that might be useful: Custom made furniture...See MoreAnyone here live near Nashville, TN? (Old house question)
Comments (4)I need photos of the houses in Old Hickory! :) That's what I'm after. I'll publish the photos at my website, to contrast and compare the houses in Old Hickory with the houses in Norfolk. Plus, I know there were EIGHT designs of "Dupont Houses" and I only have images/photos of TWO of these designs. We have many of these Dupont Houses in Norfolk, but I can't begin to identify them, because I only have photos of TWO of the eight designs. So, in short, I need photos of those houses in Old Hickory that were built by Dupont. I do have addresses in Old Hickory. Rose...See More2021 jackson and perkins preview has me intrigued
Comments (125)Any updates ?! I have the yellow hybrid tea and the pink floribundas . The yellow plant is huge , and has around 10/12,buds can’t remember the exact count . It is very sturdy and thick rose stems , and they open so slowly even in our almost 100 degrees . I had cut one to bring inside . It has been opening very dramatically, and I enjoy peeking in on it . It’s very elegant!! let me share some pics . Still no where near fully open . Later .. Very big bloom and honestly so dramatic! Even funnier , it was very hot today and I had skipped watering last night . Look at these blooms that absolutely melted ! Whoops ! Lesson learned , water your plants lol next is that pink floribunda, which is just so adorable right now. And I have 12 canes with clusters in the ends . My biggest cluster has , guess how many ? 16 buds !! On one end!!! It’s crazy . I love the touch of green mixes with the pink buds . Tomorrow I should surely have some open . I feel like I’ll love this pink one !!! The yellow is very pretty but I quickly learned I am not a hybrid tea girl. I prefer quantity over quality. Gimme more buds !!! Lol...See Morecocontom
