Guys Navy and White bedroom (Photo's requested)

First, if you use a solid navy Duvet, should the skirt on the bed be white or navy? I don't want it to look girlie, and yet with a navy skirt would the bed look too dark and heavy?

#2 I would love to see photo's of Navy and White bedrooms for ideas for a guy.

This is fashion designer Johnson Hartig's bedroom. This room immediately jumped to mind when you mentioned navy. The walls are black and the rug is navy and white. He uses pinstripes for the duvet and the sheets. I like it.

Wow! You guys are awesome. I am going to go with the Cameo White. And for everyone who loved the bedding, it's onsale right now at Pottery Barn! It's called Sydney. les917 - our furniture is all hand-me-down right now, and will remain that way until we get our budget in check. We have a walnut-colored headboard, plain and simple. Nothing exciting. We're going to reduce the number of furniture pieces in our bedroom, since we finally have a closet big enough to fit our clothes into! The flooring will be carpet...a freize that is beig-y and has darker flecks in it. Thanks again for everyone's input!

Kendog, The reason that those blues on the same card don't work, is that those are the historical colors. They are not actually meant to go together. The regular colors have varying shades on one card but the historical colors do not. I love that color! I am posting a link to a photo of a NPB bedroom. I think I would go with a cream or creamy white like BM white dove. What color is the furniture? I have Desert tan in my home. While I love it, I think it would be too much to have the two colors painted on the walls. I could see, say, a dresser painted in the desert tan in the room but I think it would be too choppy to have 3 wall of it and one wall of blue. Notice the bedspread colors in the photo. I know this sounds odd, but I would remove the final pointy ends from the posts on the bed, as on your first inspiration photo. To me it looks very odd. I would definitely do simple curtain panels reaching to the floor and also a rug to give some softness to this room with so much wood. Perhaps very light blue walls with a green and cream bedspread and cream curtains.

Are you set on using white? I love navy with tan. Infact, my dining room has navy walls and a tan ceiling. It looks very masculine IMO.

I don't have any pics persay, and I know this probably sounds nutty, but I've been looking for bedding and nearly all the stores have photos of that combination. Also you can find pics in the gallery, here's a link to one post from Oceanna

These photos don't show a bedskirt, but the navy walls and white linens and upholstery are really beautiful.

This is not a bedroom obviously, but are these the colors you are looking for?

Question? How old is this guy you are talking about? Is he a teen or middle aged or an older man? I think that makes a difference.

I have a few Navy and white photos of bedrooms, but they look feminine. Who is the bedroom for? How old? What are their hobbies?
