Yep, I'll be watching tonight! I watched the first half on Tuesday...holy crap...they really let it fly!

I thought that LuAnn looked great! I can't decide if she s beautiful, cute, pretty or just so-so, but on Tuesday night she looked very nice. In fact, I think she looked the best of all of them. Kelly also looked good.

Ramona is still an idiot!

I'll be watching part two, tonight. Can't wait!

I thought Luann came off well. She seemed robotic during this season's taping, now we know it was probably due to the separation.

Alex doesn't get her feathers ruffled and that's the one thing I do like about her. Ramona was exactly as I thought she'd be...a nut case. I don't like Kelly, so no comment there. I was getting tired of Bethanny's facial commentary while others were speaking, but I thought she looked beautiful as always.

I thought the New Jersey girls were interesting. Sort of reminded me of the Soprano's, minus the dead bodies lol

If anyone is still reading this thread, did it strike any of you as significant at the seating placement? Jill, Bethany and LuAnn on one couch, the rest on the other - do you think that was significant grouping indicating "teams" or simply where they landed when they all went to take a seat?

LuAnn was not one of my "favorites" but she sure looked terrific and came off as more "real" in personality than she ever has, I actually liked her last night - a first for me. Divorce seems to suit her in every way, maybe she is finding out she is far happier without The Count. If so, *good* for her!! The very nerve of anyone to break off a marriage via e-mail. Anyone who falls in with Mr. NoCount knowing this is how he handled the mother of his children and the end of the 15 year marriage? Via email?!?
They will end up with exactly what they deserve. Product description found stamped on rear end. What a bum.

I'm interested to see how Lou Ann comes off next season, I might like her a whole lot more next season. She didn't seem so "I'm a countess and you're not" to me tonight, she struck me as a real person.

I'm never going to like Kelly, to me she is a phony. It's ALWAYS somebody else's fault, has anyone ever noticed that? You can never tell if what she says is the truth because she is always the victim when somebody gets upset with her.

Romana - without her would there even be a show? *LOL* She's ok, but she has to be willing to take it if she dishes it out and I'm not so sure she is good at taking it. If she keeps up this defensive cat back biting, they are going to take her down, she will look the fool by her own actions.

For the first time, I realized that the blond one (terrible with names) is probably the most decent in basic character of the whole lot of them. She and her husband always creeped me out, but I realized tonight that she is an honestly decent person who doesn't go out looking for ill will and doesn't send it out there either - that's more than I can say for the rest of them. I actually liked her - a LOT, tonight. She presented her case against Bethany very well and I suddenly realized she is not one who back bites like the rest of them. Though I can't stand that husband of her's, I cannot begin to imagine how hurt she has been about the comments made about him. And, her (ok. awful) children. She just sits quietly and doesn't throw back like Romana does. She will say what she has to say and then just shuts up. I've know people like that, they have landed on their feet no matter what happened to them, their whole life. Good for her.

Bethany - how decent of her to own up to her bad behavior regarding the blonde one - I really admired Bethany for that. I have always admired people who were willing to admit fault when called on bad behavior, expecially if they noticed faults in others and commented on it. It speaks well of Bethany that she owned her poor behavior.

Bethany looked seriously worn though, too thin, tired looking, too much make up. I also saw a "softer" side of her, when she admitted she was hurt - I've always liked her, but she came off as too tough with very biting sarcasm, which I love but not when it's used as a sharp tool against others in the social circle. She looked like she badly needed a vacation and about five - eight additional pounds.

Jill looked *terrific* didn't she? Good for her for not apologising to that viewer's remark for how she spends her money. Who has the right to determine how another should spend what is theirs?!? I couldnt believe that question.

I may not have much much money, but what I have, nobody gave to me, it's what I earned and I'll spend/save/invest it exactly the way I choose. When did being wealthy become such a crime in this country? Sounds like mean spirited envy to me. I felt that to be a reversed snobby question.

I also saw the first reunion show, but am looking forward to seeing it again tonight. Alex does keep her cool and does seem classy. I don't care for Kelly, so won't remark about her either. Ramona is sure high strung, and i didn't realize that Jill was so top heavy that she had a reduction.She always seemed well proportioned. Bethany is my fav. I think she would be a fun girl friend with her sense of humor. i think she would be fun to go out to have a couple drinks with. Luanne is going through a tough time with the separation. Can you imagine your husband ditching you by EMAIL!!!I do think she is more impressed by her countess title than anyone else. I watched most of the New Jersey gals, and haven't decided if I'll watch the whole season or not. I hope they do another season of the N.Y. gals. Dottie

I had the same impression many of you mentioned, of LuAnn, seeming more "real" down to earth, or relaxed. It must have been a nightmare to have the marital problems while being filmed on a reality show. It's probably the fact that she's off of the fence now. I hadn't liked her in the past.

Alex always did strike me as a nice person. I wouldn't have a lot in common with her fashion-wise, and social networking, but still can tell that she isn't a phoney. I like the fact that she and Simon adore their children and refuse to park them in front of a television. Just because they ran around a little bit they take a lot of flak for that. We all know how rambunctious little boys can be! At least they are truly loved and not placated with video games to turn them into quiet zombies. I used to like Bethanny and Jill best, now it is Alex. Can't stand Kelly!

Ramona is interesting for the show, but very, very abrasive. I don't care about her rough childhood. Most people have had to work hard to overcome their imperfect childhoods. Don't use it as an excuse to be rude!

Haven't made up my mind abuot the NJ Housewifes. I had to turn it off half-way through the program. Too much of that stuff and I go nuts. I have a REAL life and things I need to take care of!

I am glad they are repeating Tuesdays show as I dozed off during a portion... bummer. What I saw I enjoyed. My only complaint is they were all talking so fast I missed out on much off the conversation..slow it down ladies.
Luann was a model she looks so familiar to me..I wonder where she modeled and for whom. For some reason I think I have seen her someplace before.. on TV, not in real life.Are they going to do another year of taping does anybody know??? Hope so.

Wow...Did you watch? The Real Housewives of New York City Reunion...part II? It was another good one.

Yep, LuAnn looked great! She did not hold back. She let Ramon have it but, she was respectful. She came off well and can hold her head up high. Her dress looked beautiful on her...great color and the off the shoulder thing was fab!

Alex also did a great job. She looked good, was articulate and hit the nail on the head with Bethenny. She defended herself well, never got flustered or in over her head. She is indeed a smart cookie.

On the other hand, Kelly was not at her best. Unlike the rest of you, I like Kelly. She may not be my exact cup of tea but I think she is smart and seems to have done very well for herself in her own life. She also adds more diversity to the cast. I do think that she needs to step back and think a bit before she speaks...she seems scattered at times, like she is not able to express herself well, her thinking gets in the way of her words. I thought she looked the best that she has all season.

Jill was Jill but I don't think she was at her best. I like Jill a lot but I thought she was a little defensive. If you have to 'set the rocord straight' so many times, you have been a very busy girl and not completly happy with what has been said/showen. I didn't like the way her hair was styled for the show.

As much as I like Bethenny, and I do, I wish she would let her defenses down a bit. It would be OK if she would just take a few breaths, listen and 'come from a place of' help me understand exactly what it is that you are saying to me... Often times she 'comes from a place of' only hearing part of what is being said before she jumps to her own conclusion. I think Bethenny is better than that. When talking about other people, she often goes with a caustic remark said in a funny way, a way that makes us all laugh, but it's still a caustic remark. I think Bethenny is on the verge of something really fun, exciting and rewarding in her life. She has already done well for herself, but it feels like it's going to get even better. I'm happy for her.

Ramona is still and idiot. She got a little crazy, let her guard down and let us see some of the reason for the way she acts. That was not fun to see. And, it seems that LuAnn hit a nerve with the 'crazy eyes' comment. Knowing that Ramona came from a sad, dysfunctional childhood did not change my feelings toward her. So far, she's still and idiot. Her husband Mario is also.

And, Andy...I think he could have used some help. He did little to control all the activity and fighting. I was glad they let us see two hours out of the seven that it took during filming. It was a good wrap-up to the season.

I think Alex and Luanne came off well in both episodes. Alex is the brightest of the bunch and very articulate. I think Luanne hides behind her countess role too much. Hopefully after her divorce and with her book out, she will truly find herself. I like Luanne.

Bethanny and Ramona carry alot of baggage from their childhood, and it's painful to watch at times, but at this point in their lives, I can't excuse the behavior. Mario really turned out to be a jerk this season. I think Avery is the one sane one in that household, let's hope she stays that way.

I agree, I thought Jill was more defensive than usual. I think she is very pretty, but the make up and hair did not suit her well. Her dress did not flatter her either.

I tried to like Kelly this season, but it's just so hard to understand what she is trying to convey. I didn't like that fact that she denied saying those things to Bethanny at their second face to face. I'm surprised Kelly had never seen season one NY.

I too am excited for Bethanny, I think she has a wonderful future. I hope she finds the man of her dreams and one day has the child she so desperately wants. She's got alot of love to give. She has become a weekly regular (via Skype) on the Bonnie Hunt Show.

I was also surprised to hear that Kelly had not seen any of RHONYC before agreeing to join the show for season two. But I think I remember that at the reunion show for season one, Alex said the same thing about not seeing RHOOC before agreeing to be a part of the NYC cast. How can you agree to something that is so life changing without first knowing something about it?

I hope Kelly is back for another season. I like her because of the diversity she brings. It's not easy to join a cast that already has history, drama, fights, alliances, but she seemed to have a harder time than most. I know she is not stupid, she graduated from Columbia, I just think she has a problem with articulation. It's a very real thing that lots of people have an issue with. What ever it is, if she is back next season, I hope she gets some help. But then again, I said the same 'hope she gets some help' thing about Ramona the idiot.

who now thinks that we should start a KTLORHONYC 12 step support program. Meetings will be held in the basement of a very old church on the first and third Mondays of each month. Seating will be on old wooden folding chirs, lots of strong coffee will be served. Smoke breaks (manditory) will be every 15 minutes during which we will all hang around out in the parking lot sucking down Camels, unfiltered...

Okay I am bringing some wine to the meeting...LOL I am a addict...I am just now seeing the reunion though and amazed....I am sorry I do not like Kelly and I am not a Bethanny fan either....I do like the countess and I like Jill...and I do like Alex...but sooooo cannot stand her hubby is soooo totally creeps me out and they do need to get control of their kids.....stacy
