Yes, I'll watch the reunion and YES, I'm watching Housewives of NY.

I am hooked. I know it's trash and DH teases me about watching but I love it.

I'm already ticked off at Luann and Kelly. Must watch hoping they will both get their comeuppance.LOL

The only one with any financial common sense is Vicki, but as far a being a loyal friend she rates right up with the others. It bothered me to see her dump Jeanna as a friend, and only to reach out to her after she had a tiff with the other girls. I think Vicki is a high maintenance friend. I was glad to see she became aware of her not so nice behavior towards her husband and began working to correct it. Don seems like a great guy. Certainly not controlling like Simon. He's scary!!

Funny how the gals of New York have established new friendships. I still would love to know what planet Kelly lives on. Bethenney seems more mouthy this season, I'm wondering if homones are involved LOL. Her boyfriend sure is cute!

I had to laugh when Luann said Mario called her Countless,,,that was so funny.,Luann has no sense of humor IMO.

I will be watching. I don't really know the NY ladies, but I watched the first one. I always think with "friends" like these women, who needs enemies?

I watched the show last night...just about what I expected.
I wonder, does Tamra look at herself and think" Geez I look great"..
If anybody could use a makeover it is Tamra..she looks like hell. Her hair is disgusting. The other ladies all looked somewhat better. but Tamra... yikes.

I agree, last night was pretty much what I expected. I hate to see a marriage fail, but I'm glad Tamra got some back bone & left controlling Simon. Notice he wasn't among the other men on the couch? I really wish Lyn would get her head out of her a$$ and control and discipline her spoiled brat daughters. Lynn always looks like she is spaced out. I keep switching my fave between Vicky (yes, she's a high maintenance friend) and Gretchen ( who is funny but I question her being with Slade) I thought it was funny when the narrator called her sloppy thirds. What the heck does he do for a living? or does he do Gretchen. LOL As for the new gal, can't remember her name, sounds like she & her hubs, rewrite the Bible to suit their needs. I'm looking forward to tonight's reunion show, as I am to the NY gals. I just don't get it with Luann and her "Countess" title. She seems to be the only one impressed with it. I think it is rather silly, because she & the "Count" are divorced, shouldn't the so-called title go to his next wife. I didn't know that Bethany was PG. I hope she & the new Beau tie the knot.This looks like it is gearing to be a rocky season. Dpttie

Slade isn't my type of guy, but Gretchen is right. Everyone should leave her to make her own decisions and keep their mouths shut. I thought Gretchen handled herself well, telling Vicki to talk to Slade herself, instead of talking behind his back to others or to her.

Luann is allowed to keep the title of Countess, that's just the way it works with that title. It doesn't matter if we like it or not- she's entitled to it.

Oops... I just reread my post and realized how harsh it came out! I meant, the OC housewives should keep their mouths shut and stop telling Gretchen who to be with. They're being very rude to her.

What it comes down to is, everyone has the right to their opinion AND the right to express it. In MY opinion, this is America, and these 'titles' seem silly and pretentious, TO ME. Sorry if I ruffled someones feathers. Dottie

I thought Mario's comment about Luanne being "Countless" was rather funny. She needs that title in order to exsist in her world. I just wish she wasn't so full of herself.

I hope Gretchen wakes up and sees that Slade is not for her. I agree with the other housewives about him being an opportunist. I thought it interesting that Gretchen now owns Jo's catalog. I see Slade written all over that idea. I'm looking forward to hearing him defend the accusations about him being a deadbeat dad.

My feathers certainly weren't ruffled, as I explained in my second post. I was rushing to get out this morning and it all came out wrong. I said "sorry" and I don't know what else to say. I'm still truly sorry it came out wrong, as I posted at 11:12 am.

I agree with you Susan. Gretchen just removed herself from the line of fire and basically took all the wind out of the other womens sails. Good move Gretchen. It really is none of their business.

I don't know what to make of Tamra. She didn't seem to mind being controled by Simon last season when he bought her the Rolex. She seemed to really want to embarass her husband every time they were on camera; like the trucker with tits comment. I don't know why Vicki keeps saying she's a good mother. Her first kid is a loser and I never see her with the younger ones. (but she is taking them to therapy next week)
